Although two of the pens in the set arrived leaking, they were individually wrapped in cellophane so mess was very minimal but Amazon replaces the set immediately and didn’t require the return of the defective pen set which was awesome. These worked great and being oil based are outdoor durable which is just what I needed and at an amazing price, what’s not to like?!

Purchased to use to renew an outdoor sign and am very pleased with the results and ease of using these. The pricing was perfect. Plan on having our granddaughters use these to paint rocks for the garden also. I don't think you can go wrong with the purchase of these markers!

I painted a rusted iron piece I found for the garden and a couple of interesting rock shapes to go in the garden and I like how easy these are to use and how true the colors are--no messing with brush cleanups for small jobs either. At first, I thought some weren't going to work but if you're patient and press down quite a few times--not just three-they all start working and last much longer than expected. Be sure to put the caps back on til you hear the click and they don't dry out between uses. I did first base coat most of the items with spray paint before decorating, but not the disc-shaped one, and it required an extra coat to get the deep color I like. After letting each item dry over night,I covered with a clear lacquer and let that dry before putting outside in the garden, since even in the desert, nights can be a little damp, but they are holding their color--will let you know if it changes.UPDATE: A couple of these had "wicks" the part you paint with--that came loose and fell out. One worked ok after just replacing it. The other won't go back in completely and the paint tends to puddle a bit. Now, although these work great on rocks and metal, I found using them on glass to be a different story. The glass can't absorb the paint when it puddles, even a little, unlike the rock or even the wrought iron. Consequently, I can't recommend using these on glass unless you want to paint a larger surface area that doesn't need to fit a specific outline. The colors all stay true though. Haven't spoken to seller about replacing the units with loose wicks--so far, for the price, I'm just trying a workaround.

Received my paint pens. Very excited, needing for my milk jugs for winter sowing seeds and the permanent pens will eventually wash away in the weather. The paint pens stay on nice and vibrant. Nice selection of colors. I also liked that you can interchange from fine point to medium point with added tips. Would definitely buy again. At local Walmart one pen was $6.00 for one. Good product. I even painted my dogs nails. Lol she is very fashionable now. 😉😉😉

I first used my sister's box of these markers. They gave ink right away when cap was removed. In the box I ordered for myself the next week, I had to stab the painting area to get fluid to begin to come out. Sometimes paint would squirt too much out. I just used the little puddle of paint to dip the marker in before painting. The end product turned out great, but there was still the matter of wasted paint and a little too much effort required.

Love these! It’s so nice not having to wash paint brushes after ‘painting’. I sometimes use these on (air dry and already baked) polymer clay. The yellow pen had some sticky substance all over it and was definitely less full than the other colors, however, I do realize stuff happens during shipping so no biggie, I’ll live.

Very happy with how these markers write on mugs. Some of the colors are not visible in black or dark grey mugs but others work perfectly. My favorites are the silver and gold ones. They are a bit thicker than I thought but after some practice I was able to improve my technique.

I got these to paint names on the headstones for our furbabies. I used a clear sealer before and after painting. The paint still faded. Also, when pushing the tip to get the paint flowing, some colors wouldn't stop running and made a mess. Pretty disappointed as these were stated to be good for painting on stone/rock.
