Good for lighting any fire and have never let me down. Will buy again. Great value for money

Long burn time, plenty of heat. They work reliably with smokeless fuel provided you use a block of four (about 2" x 2"), which isn't unreasonable. I use a gas barbecue lighter to get them going. Unfortunately, the cardboard boxes are slightly too large to fit in a metal Vailant firelighter box (fire-proof), so I take them out and recycle the carboard boxes . The twin firelighter slabs in each box are a bit fiddly to separate. I deducted one star because of these minor handling difficulties.

As always zip firelighters make lighting our multi fuel burner easy , they are clean to use with very little smell , compared to the price of the supermarket who charge double for half the quantity of this bulk pack !

Good value they will keep me going for a long time

Light easily & burn well but don't easily break into the neat 'squares' they are designed to meaning that you may light fewer fires than the prescribed number indicted on the pack.

Always bulk buy these and thry last the entire winter for our log burner.
