Prier 630-7500 Vacuum Breaker Service Parts Kit - 2 Pack

My house has two 30 year old hose bibs, and other than being able to see that they are Prier brand, I couldn't find a specific model for them since they are so old. Took a chance with these and they worked perfectly. I did add Teflon tape to the threads, just in case the specs were just slightly off, but I had no leaks once installed. Installation was quick and easy. I especially liked the metal caps, since they are thinner than the old plastic ones, I didn't have the usual problem of having to squeeze the cap into a tight space without breaking them.

The repair kit worked great, but there was some confusion when I first received it. The cap included in the kit was smaller in diameter than the original gray cap on my old faucet, which made me think I had the wrong part. After comparing the parts, I found that the internal valve components were the same and fit perfectly. The kit appears to replace the working components, while the external cap style/size may vary depending on the model.

This was a quick fix and the replacement worked as expected.

This part absolutely works as a replacement for Nibco 90 anti-siphon valve. I replaced an original Nibco 90 valve. You do NOT need the rubber washer/o-ring like the original had, and this does not come with one. In fact, if do you put a rubber o-ring on it, you may have a small pressure leak through the inside plunger washer seal. To avoid cross-threading, push this in firmly first and make sure it is seated properly before you start turning it (you may feel a slight "snap" when it's fully seated before you tighten it). Finger tighten first until it's all the way in--do NOT use a plier until the final 1/16th of a turn. If you can't start to thread it and tighten it all the way using only your fingers, STOP, back out, check and clean out the threads in the faucet to remove any bits of calcification or debris, and try again. Test the valve for good seal before you snap on the cap by opening the faucet. The inside plunger will pop up and create a tight seal. You might get a drop or two of water come out the top before the plunger washer seals the hole, but you should not see any water come out after it's been fully pressurized.

Easy to install. Stopped leak instantly.
