It feels like it always needs a battery, but works fine, until it just doesn't anymore. They don't last long.

I have been using these facial hair removers for years, always bought at the drugstore. I decided to add one to my order on Amazon because mine was losing its sharpness. This one does not have the power of any of my previous ones. I tried a new battery and it did not get any better. I will keep it but I will go back to the drugstore variety from here on.Update - it just quit. I never got to use it and I have trashed it. Bought one at Target.

The rotary style trimmers may work for some, but I never seem to be able to get a close enough trim for my nose and ears when using them. Nothing makes you look older than hair sprouting from these orifices, so having a trimmer like this is essential. I had a similar model from another manufacturer once upon a time, but it had a smaller trimmer blade opposite the main cutter - which could be quite painful in one's nose and so great care was required. This model has only the main cutting blade and so is easy, quick and painless to use for nose hair and is also light and maneuverable to get all those hairs in and around your ears. The dual-side guide for eyebrows is also extremely useful, it makes quick work of those long, old man brows and removing the guide lets you get at the last strays threatening to meet in the middle - no one needs a unibrow. I will be buying a second one of these to keep as a spare or traveler.

Caught my neighbor crying one day because her old cat had such bad mats, she thought she was going to have to put him down! Her vet had told her the cat was too old to be sedated. I've used these trimmers on my face for years so it gave me the idea to order one for her to try on her cat. It DID! And kitty loved it too!...purring while she worked on him because it's not loud or scary like larger pet clippers. My neighbor was so happy after using it on her cat the first time, she cried tears of joy! I know this item is not advertised for this purpose but, it is small enough to get close to the skin without pulling or cutting the skin. For only $8, it saved the day (and the cat!)

I call it my mini lawnmower... it's a daily use machine for me...I love having it...I would recommend to anyone with that annoying peach fuzz...😊
