I love the sound of these headphones but the cord is too thin. I bought this before (2020) and the cord was A LOT thicker.Other than the cord issue, I like these headphones. Which is why I bought a second pair...

I had another very good Philips head set, and the cord broke, so I go these and was VERY disappointed. There was bass, all right -- ONLY bass. No mid-range punch to speak of and very weak highs. Might be great for listening to 60s LPs that were mastered with the low end rolled off, but that's about it. Returned it.

I bought this product 4 years ago when I was in need of a cheap pair of headphones quickly. They’ve lasted me the past 4 years, 2 as my main pair. After nearly a year of being never turned on, I used them and they worked perfectly. I’ve never had a pair of headphones last this long, this well. It might just be the best 15 dollars I’ve ever spent. The sound quality and bass are surprisingly good, but you do still get what you pay for. That goes for the mic as well.
