Cute style but do not cut without great effort...
I'm so sorry, but I have to give this item one star. I was excited when I first saw it because I really liked the discreet style, but that excitement was quickly squashed when I tried to use them. They do not cut well at all. It takes a great deal of effort to get these to work on anything. My husband thinks this is because the blades are too far apart, if they were closer together perhaps they would do a better job. In the end I had to return them for another more conventional pair.

Compact and useful.
They work just fine even though they are compact. Can carry in your purse without getting jabbed. Good value for the cost but would not expect them to hold up to more than the occasional use.
