PETZL, Airline

Absolutely great product. I've sailed, hiked, camped, fished, etc so am familiar with different twines, ropes and cordages. This line is just a fine product: very durable exterior (spectra/dyneema is a pretty much non-elastic material amd very abrasion resistant) but contrary to other spectra coords I've seem on kites/parasails, kayaks, etc, this one has a pretty sturdy cord, rendering the line far from flimsy. In fact, you can hold several inches of it upright before it twists over on its own weight. It seems "rigid" enough to not loop in eights too badly when you are reeling it in by hand. The reel og 60m is a nice compact softball-size and it just feels lile it is top notch quality.

It’s premium throw line for tree work. There are lots of poor throwing lines on the market. This is one that seems indestructible. It’s easier on the hands to get a larger diameter line but this is a gem

I cut mine in 2. Not sure why I'm retrospect. Well. I do have two Petzl throw bags. Anyway line is strong and tough. Will buy a second roll to keep full length to use with sling shot.

Very easy to tie and untie

Petzl airline throw line is a great tool for getting my anchors and dry rope set up. Thanks for the access.

I needed this shipped sooner than the Notch brand so I regret not waiting. We’ve never used the thinner ones and now I know why. This thing knots up almost every time due to how thin it is. Buy the Notch brand, you won’t be disappointed.

Horrible stuff. This line is much thinner than expected and kinks easily. I'm use to using Samson Zing-it line for my throw lines but decided to give this a try. Sorely disappointed. I immediately returned it and will go back to my tried and true line.
