Q: are these ornaments breakable?

The ornaments are made of a clay polymer which is bendable, sturdy, and much less likely to break than a typical glass or resin ornament.

Q: Do they need to be stored in climate controlled area? Our summers get over 100 degrees for several weeks each summer.

The ornaments are made from polymer clay. I would imagine they might warp if stored in temps. that high for an extended period of time.

Q: Someone asked if the size (5.5" x 3.25") includes the ribbon. The answer was yes, so what is the size of just the resin/clay portion of the ornament?

No. I gave those as gifts last Christmas and were adorable. The size listed was correct.

Q: Will the polymer clay harden over time? They are pretty soft, somewhat bendable. I planned to hang above my stove will it affect the ornaments?

I bought mine a couple years ago and they are still be bendable. I hang mine on my tree so i cant speak to your concern about placing them near the stove.
