Tried it on three different ar15s. Had to do some filing off to make it fit. At approximately 5 and 7 o’clock on the ring, the ring straightens out toward the qd mount. When it straightens, it needs to be filed so that there is enough play to fit the ring on the stock and allow the hole to line up properly on the upper. Other than that, good quality and value once a little metal is taken off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works just fine and everything lines up! *by B***N on December 30, 2018* I was hesitant to buy this based on the low number of reviews and the conflicting information in the reviews. My honest option is that is fits and functions just fine. It went on my mil spec rifle and lined up great. The quick disconnect works as it should. My only gripe is that it is finished in a high gloss black. Every AR I have ever owned is a matt or flat black so this piece stands out.
