Chargery S1500 Power Supply

There are tons of PSU out there, including a ton of 2nd hand server PSU, and a lot of new Meanwell PSUs, all work, specially meanwell that to me quality wise is among the best, but all have one big bad thing for me, all are very noisy, and its understandable, rack servers psu never are design with quietness in mind, and here is where the S1500 becomes, at least to me the best PSU in the market.The fans turn off on light load, totally silent, the fans turn up with load, but you can even tweak it to your own liking. The LCD while not a feature that its a must, to me its a big plus, i like a lot seeing the load bieng apply to the PSU and to measure efficiencies is also great, btw its a very efficient PSU, above 90% on at least half load at 220V.The only con that i can see on it is there is no hard power off switch, there is one that its digital, but to me there is no excuse for not including a hard one, to me is more for safety, is something goes wrong for whatever reason, i always reach hard switches to turn off.To me its well worth its $300, yes its not cheap, but you getting one of a kind that almost no other PSU can deliver, specially if you are looking for a quiet, efficient, with more info display than most. That said there are tons of PSU in the market, you can even make your own, its up to you if you find the features it offers worth the cost.

Seems to work well. I wish it had a power switch. The instructions are not consistent. In one place says OK to leave plugged in because of low standby power another it says not to leave unattended. I just unplug it when not in use. Does let me charge my big packs at more than 1C.

The product met my expectations, and works as advertised, price was decent for what it does, so far I am a happy customer 👍😎

VERY dependable, cool running power supply. Have it powering an iCharger 308 1300 Watt battery charger with no problems whatsoever. I have tried multiple brands of power supplies, and nothing has come CLOSE to the power, dependability, efficiency, and ease of use as this thing. If you're on the fence about buying it.. just buy it. Dependability is worth something. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this unit is worth taking the time.
