Does it decrease your dog's hunger?

Yes it does decrease. My dog is a lab and loves food, but before we started using Pan-tenex she was ravenous and eating everything in sight. She would get anything left on the counters and gobble it up, which was not like her at all. She lost almost 40 pounds and after 2 different vets who ran thousands of dollars in tests to which they couldn't find what was wrong, I decided to try it. She wasn't absorbing any nutrients in her food as it would go out as soon as she ate. She was literally starving. Pan- tenex worked in less than a week. Her bowel movements were normal again and she wasn't so hungry all the time. She has gained a healthy 20 pounds and looks great! Definitely worth a try.

I am buying for my small cat his RX is on back order. That being said, it takes me forever to go through a bottle due . how far out is the expiration?

Well we usually buy four at a time. I just checked my expiration date and it says 11/2024. And just a little heads up it’s a little cheaper going straight through the company…hope this helps.

Are the ingredients per 1 tsp or per 2 tsp?

You base it on your dogs weight , you can adjust from there is 1 tsp doesn't seem to have solidified the problem you can incre4ase it.  also after the condition has been stabelized you can adjust down a bit if you think it is warranted.

vet recommended dosing at 4 tsp per meal for competing supplement hat has same strength of ingredients. Do I follow vet or pkg recommendation

Thank you for writing!  We have never encountered a pet that required 4 tsp per meal.  Actually, many users of Pan-tenex have reported needing only 1/2 tsp per meal and a meal is defined as up to 2.5 cups of food.  However, please note that every dog is different and you will need to find the dose that works best for your individual dog.
