It’s not going to cook two big potatoes in 4 minutes but you might get 1 done. Overall happy with it. The potatoes are soft when they are done and not dried out like they can be other ways in the microwave. Happy I purchased.

I can't tell you how much I love a baked sweet potato with cinnamon! They're so good for you! They are packed with Vitamin A and many other vitamins and minerals!Microwaving your potato in the Potato Express pouch is so much easier than wrapping your sweet potato a wet paper towel. It actually steams your potato at the same time it's microwaving it, which results in a faster cooking time. The potato turns out very moist too.It is only one pouch, so you really can only do one potato at a time though. The pouch folds closed around your potato, and you have to make sure your potato fits. Once your potato is secure, you place the part with the fold down, and your potato is done in about 4 to 5 minutes, depending on the size. I, for one, have had excellent results with the Potato Express and really like this product!

Bakes potato well but drying it out after cooking is tough

I am pretty cynical by nature but when I saw the commercial for Potato Express I found myself nodding in agreement - "Do you love baked potatoes but hate waiting an hour for it to bake in the oven?", "Do microwaving them make them soggy and chewy?" I'm paraphrasing but you get the point. So, on a late night, I ordered the Potato Express. It arrived today and I washed and put in a GIANT Idaho potato. The booklet says 4 minutes but that it may take longer depending on the size of the potato. My giant IDAHO potato took closer to 6 minutes in a 1100 watts microwave. If after 4 minutes, it is still hard, just keep adding an extra minute at a time. The end result was Potato Perfection! My child said "This tastes just like Wendy's baked potato" which is a big compliment. I even let the potato sit for half an hour while I baked my bacon. I would "highly" recommend this product! My elderly sister doesn't cook. Yet, when she is at my house she requests "those quick baked potatoes."I've owned a quick potato sleeve for several years; and I love it. Perfect gift for the person who ruins their body with fast food french fries.Admittedly, you can get great results by simply microwaving a potato wrapped in wet paper towels. But, that is "cooking."This device makes it seem like "magic." Amazing gift.Also cooks whole onions, but REDUCE cook time. Much easier than saute. Consider that, next time you grill a steak.

This product works great. This is my second one to own. The only reason I had to buy a second one after many years was that my son decided he wanted his potato to be crispy so he set the microwave for 10 minutes. Lets just say there is a reason that the bag has printed in several locations 4 minutes max. Lots of smoke and a burnt hole in the bag resulted it the need to buy this second one. All is good this is typical like of a teenager. When I asked him he said I didn't know. Well he knows now. HA!

I didn't realize how much I needed this until I got it, use it almost every day, at least every other day since getting it. Such a time saver. Big and small potatoes I highly recommend. However - you need to buy this one! Don't be fooled by the imitation ones, I was so excited I thought I found a set of two for really cheap and ordered it and it came in a green bag bunched up whereas this one has cardboard packaging on it, the material is much more thicker on the real one, fake one felt like someone lined a windbreaker jacket with a paper towel liner. If you are considering buying one - Do it! but make sure you buy the real Potato Express, this is where I got mine.

Meine Mutter bat mich, diesen Beutel für sie zu bestellen, da ihre Schwester, die in den U.S.A. lebt davon geschwärmt hat. Der Beute wurde gewohnt schnell geliefert und meine Mutter schwärmt mir bei jeder Gelegenheit davon vor, so dass ich inzwischen überlege, mir selber auch einen zu kaufen.

Depending on the size/shape of the potato as they're all usually pretty unique - given that you often can't fit anymore than 1 single potato into this pouch in my experience - after reading about people enjoying similar 'microwave potato bags' i was excited to try the genuine product - unfortunately it was a disappointment, the difference in taste eluded me completely and was simply a disappointment.

As far as I'm concerned this works well with normal potatoes.Sweet potatoes is a different story. It will take more like 7 minutes which is fine but not described on the packaging.It gets a bit steamy after use but you can easily wash it in the sink and dry without any damaging affects on future use.
