I bought these not for privacy, but to deflect some wind and hopefully help keep rain from coming in from the sides on my covered deck. These seem to be well made. They came with wire ties but I used screws with fender washers.The company is outstanding to deal with. They are very responsive and I ordered a special length from them for one section.Some people complain that they show through too much. Even though I didn’t buy them for privacy when you look from the inside out you can see lots through them. However when looking from outside into them they don’t seem to be see through.It really depends on which side the light is on, like a window at night with the lights on inside...same effect.Update: Now after a year being up they still are holding up great!

9-30-17I'm reviewing the 5'x26' Mocha Brown Screen, which my reason for purchase was to provide more privacy. I had a wooden fence which provided 100% privacy from my neighbors. They had asked to put up a fence of their own... I was thinking adding their own on their side and leaving mine alone. To my dismay, they removed MY fence which was a good cedar wood and solid to put up their own slats of cheap pine with gaps in betweend! I really like my privacy and am really fed up with the constant ruckus and flow of people and kids there.This screen looks OK and matches the color of their wooden fence. It's not as opaque as I would've liked, but it's a huge improvement and provides more privacy than just the fence alone. This looks to be made of a plastic or vinyl material. It also came with its own pack of black zip ties, but I used staples to tack the screen to their existing fence. If anything, I think I could just add another layer of screen on top to hopefully provide the privacy I would like or am looking for. I provided photos of what it looked like after... please keep in mind it's now autumn here and the plants in the garden are dying back, so I'm not crazy about the shots I'm providing. It was quite easy to put up with the help of my daughter. I wasn't looking for perfection. It may look a little funny but the added privacy is what I was going for. I wanted to actually add the missing slats of wood to their fence, but it's been up for acouple years now and the wood is now warped. For me to try and fit pieces in between would be a struggle, however, this wasn't financially possible at the time they installed it. This screen is definitely the next best thing. It didn't break the bank either. It's more appealing than putting up some sort of opaque tarp. I can't wait to see how well this holds up.I bought this from the seller "Alion Home Inc.", which I feel is important to list this info. I've come across sellers with variances in their items, including knockoffs, even if listed as same brand. I'll post an update with a durability review.***UPDATE***4-7-18 So far it's held up just fine through our harsh winter. No tears, no drooping, and no fading. In fact I'm ordered 1 more to double the layer in the same color. I really want my privacy back and one more layer ought to be perfect. I'll post an update with what that looks like. Should be here in 2 days, but probably take me a few to have time to put up with our rainy weather. I'll be using a staple gun once again.***UPDATE***10-25-18 So I did install the 2nd layer of privacy screen, in the same color, in early Spring. It's now PERFECT. It has the amount of privacy I was looking for and for a small price, at least compared to replacing the non private wooden fence. I need to finish stapling, so the wind doesn't tear it up, but overall, I'm pleased with the ease of install and the appearance. I'm including the updated look of double screen, and of course I time it when my garden is looking shoddy again after already getting our 1st frosts. Please excuse the dying back plants.... -_-'I still plan on updating the durability of this item. I'm curious to see how long they'll last as well. I hope this helps!

Excellent, my only issue is that it came with white zip ties, which I dumped and went and bought black ones.

I have an apartment with a railed balcony. Many other residents here use that bamboo stuff to give them more privacy, but I didn’t like the look of it nor that it always looked like it had been through a hurricane after withstanding only normal weather. Anyway I found this and love it! Just what I needed/wanted, perfect size, good price, and took all of 5 minutes to put up with some zip ties.

I really love these screens. I was looking for something like this for a long time and have loved these after installing them. They work great. You can still see through them a bit but it’s perfect for a little privacy. You still get the wind passing through it which is nice compared to a normal tarp.A couple of neighbors have asked where I got these and I’ve referred them to this page. Great product and would definitely recommend!

I recently ordered this product in size 3'x9' in the color Brown/Mocha, installed it on one side of my deck, love it & I'm very happy with it. Then I wanted the other side of my deck to match, so I ordered size 3'x14' in Brown/Mocha. What I received the second time was the correct size again, but in the color Beige, which isn't even remotely close to the color I ordered.(And I double checked, my order shows that I definitely did NOT select Beige by mistake) but I realize stuff like that happens, so I sent back the item, ordered another in the correct color & triple checked that my order was for BROWN/MOCHA. Just received my replacement and it's once again BEIGE. Now I wish I'd just found something similar to these in a store, because for the effort of going out to mail these back, it's defeated the whole purpose of ordering online.

I'm loving this balcony cover! I purchased the 3X26. It was longer than my balcony but with the excess material I just doubled up on which allowed that part of the balcony to secure more privacy. I also used double sided velcro to hold up the top and bottom because my balcony has glass panels which didn't allow space for the tie backs or whatever you call them. The velcro is holding up so far. I used industrial strength/ heavy duty velcro.

You won't be disappointed with great customer service, high quality products. I ordered two custom size privacy screens and they look and fit Fabulous

It is nice, well-made and was delivered promptly, but as a balcony privacy screen it does not work. It is translucent, not opaque. You can see through it in both directions, so it is useless as a privacy screen.

Privacy screen colour matches the siding on our complex so it was hard to tell I'd made a change to my balcony and that made me happy. This product weathers well. Semi-private material.

Screen is as described, but the tie wraps that are included break as soon as there is any tension..... completely useless. Otherwise I would of given a 5 star. I also purchased the same item but with a longer length

I received no mounting hardware for the 2 privacy screens I ordered. Aside from that they are great. I really wish they came with the mounting accessories they claimed to come with as they probably would have been easy to install. Now I have to come up with something to mount them, also at my cost.

Love that we were able to get it in brown as well as the extra long length was a real plus for us. Good quality windscreen.
