Psychology 5Th Edition

I am SOOOOO dissapointed.... After everything I read about "the international edition being the EXACT same as the US edition, just printed on different paper for a more 'economy' style book", I am beyond upset! I am halfway into the first chapter, and there's an ENTIRE section about "psychology in India", which my instructor does not give a crap about! Not only that, but the practice tests in the book that are going to be on my quizzes in class ARE NOT THE SAME as what's in the original book!!!!! I can't believe how screwed I'm going to be because of this false advertising!!!! I do not recommend this to ANYONE taking this class in the US! Such a waste of money! And now I've highlighted in the book, so now I own this piece of crap.... SUPER ANGRY!!!! Thanks for ruining my first semester of general education classes!

I love having physical copies of textbooks, and was required to have the most recent edition for my class. We used the Revel online quiz program, and the text in the other book and this one is the exact same. I'm very glad I got this and not the US edition for 10x the price. However, be warned that the page numbers are not the same (though the chapters are) and any quizzes in the book may not be the same if you need those for class (I did not).

I don’t like the fact my kid bought the wrong book. Retuned for an even crazier writer.

The original price of this book is 709 and from amazon I bought it for rs. 588 on offer .The printing proves that it is a 'copy', not an original book. Pages are of lower quality and black and white, see the picture of the human brain. Letters are small. If you can pay 709 , go to pearson's website. Why amazon.in is selling photo copied book I don't know. I will not buy any pearson book from amazon again. Also there is no price printed in the book. Totally dissatisfied.

This book is what I need, I already had one but needed another one for my friend. The book looks similar feels similar (except the pages which are like kinda bluish shade nit pure white and sharp). Printing is really good hard to point out any differences. The book on the right is the original one I bought from general store and left one is from amazon for 509INR. I will say go for it.

Book is good but it doesn't have answere key and it's also have removed one of the best features of this book is Concept Map. It's no much better than than 4th ed. Some important studies were removed for making palace to indian literatures It would be better if Pearson include both studies and concept map in next ed. Pearson please provide us answer key of this edition which is missing in this book.

The part on Indian research is really useless maybe it is not the fault of the author as good research in India might be non existent.Paper quality, visuals are bad especially the font size is surprisingly small.Content is great hence the 4 stars,it might have gotten 5 star if I wouldn't have seen Baron on general psychology which is coloured and with magzine like paper quality. Many diagrams make no sense as all distinguishing colours look the same

This is a standard resource for UPSC and foundational Psych courses. However certain cons are therePros:- Good coverage- Inside budget- Indian perspective given in 2-3 pagesCons:- Spelling mistake- Black and white- Natural flow which is found in the international edition is not found here- Feels disengaging with the readerConclusion:Depends upon the reader what he is looking for in a book
