Xlear Natural Nasal Spray with Xylitol, 1.5 fl oz (Pack of 3)

This product has helped me survive Spring! Every Spring for the past 20 years, at least, I have come down with a full-blown sinus infection that caused me to have to go to the doctor and take strong antibiotics and steroids to get rid of it. I have tried just about everything natural to no avail. Somehow I stumbled across this stuff, and it actually works. When the symptoms of my Spring sinus infection reared its ugly head, I started squirting this stuff up my nose as often as I felt like I needed it. It helps to drain out the nasty stuff and open you up so that you can breathe.Once I was opened up, I would also squirt some Sovereign Silver up each nostril also, to kill the bacteria. I actually had a sinus infection, but I was able to beat it into submission with a combination of XLEAR and Sovereign Silver. I read that bacteria can create a protective coating that keeps antibiotics from completely killing it off and then it can stay dormant in your sinuses. I read that xylitol can break down the protective coating that the bacteria has. Sovereign Silver sprayed in after the XLEAR can actually kill the bacteria, because their shield has been broken. Of course XLEAR also contains grapefruit seed extract which can also kill bacteria. But anything extra that can kill the little devils makes it go faster. Every time I wake up a little bit congested in the morning, or I'm exposed to dust that makes me feel like I'm going to come down with sinus infection, I just squirt 2 sprays of XLEAR up each nostril and I'm good to go. Just last weekend I had to help someone move some furniture and then I did some major dusting in my own house, and I felt what would surely have turned into sinus infection starting. I used this and when I awoke the next morning, it was gone. I have suffered with this horrible sinus stuff for enough years to know exactly what it feels like when it's coming. I'm going to make sure that I have XLEAR on hand at all times. When you actually have a sinus infection, this and Sovereign Silver will set you right in about a week.

This stuff is incredible. I am not sure why I stumbled upon it here on amazon, but it caught my eye since my dentist had waxed eloquent about why Xylitol was such a good sweetener, because it decreased pathogenic oral bacteria. I had researched online and found the process was because it caused slipperiness and bacteria could not adhere to tissues. Therefore I started using xylitol for baking, when making coleslaw dressing, etc routinely. I have type II and it does not cause a glycemic response for me at all. I ordered a 3 pack and it arrived yesterday. I immediately opened it and used it. My problem is with allergic rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis causing swollen mucosa and terrible stuffiness. This all used to be worse-before I had septoplasty to fix my horrible septum I often had no breathing passage at all on one side or the other. I had chronic sinus infections, often being on big-gun antibiotics for months at a time prior to the surgery. I sometimes went to bed and got up with the same sinus headache for days. The septoplasty helped alleviate the infections. But that did not fix the allergic rhinitis, just made it more tolerable. I still was having stuffiness at night, post nasal drip (though no infection) which causes coughing when laying down. Being an RN, I resorted to sugar-free eucalyptus throat lozenges-not very safe when you go to sleep, and Benadryl nightly, sometimes twice if I woke up very stuffy. as well as Flonase which has steroids and is much more expensive. Holy cow, since I used this the first time yesterday, my head has been clearer than I remember for years. I am simply amazed at how quickly I responded to it. I just need 1 spray and so think I will use it at more frequent intervals than twice a day, if needed at first. However, it seems now that I will only need 1 spray in each nostril twice a day. Hallelujah!!! I took it with me when I went to the dentist today and he was excited-he had not heard of this and was glad to know its on the market. As for me, I am going to order more right now so I don't ever, ever run out of this stuff.

Love this spray. No rebounds. Have read tends to block viral activity in your nose if used 3 x a day.

I live in Colorado where we have thin, dry air. Xlear is amazing. I keep extra, unopened bottles on hand so I can give them to friends and family when they are suffering from a cold. It is AMAZING how well it opens my sinuses so I can breathe. I keep a bottle at home, plus in my car and my desk at work. I like to use the Xlear nasal spray, wait a few minutes for my sinuses to open, and then use the Xlear packets and warmed distilled water to irrigate my nose. It is a surfectant and helps rinse out bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. I also really love the Xlear spray for everyday use. I spray it in my nose before I go to bed. I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, and it helps keep my sinuses open so I can breathe easily at night. It is also moisturizing and helps, even though I have a humidifier on my CPAP machine. I have tried prescription nasal sprays, saline, a neti pot, and other surfectants like Alkalol added to neti pot water. NOTHING works as well as Xlear. One precaution: Xylitol is safe and beneficial to humans, but it is extremely toxic to dogs, cats, and other household animals. They cannot metabolize it and it will kill them. If you have pets at home, keep your Xlear locked up where they can't get to it.

Works well on most days, but not on severe allergy days, when nothing short of sudafed works.

I have had sinus problems all my life. I moved from humid Oregon in 1993 to humid South Jersey. All sinus helol broke loose! I fought “sinus infections” for 23 years under a very able primary care physician. I also had many other issues which required antibiotics and has developed a chronic Candida Thrush problem. My sinuses and ears were a mess. I also had Vertigo often. Sound familiar? In 2017, at 67 years old, I moved to a little desert town near San Diego. The lack of humidity was heaven but I was warned to drink a lot of water, etc.. After swishing water around in my mouth to try to clear my estation (sp?) tubes I realized my sinus and ear passages were blocked with “crusty” stuff. Years of decongestants had dried out all the nastiness and left it there. Gross! I spent the next year swishing water around seeing what I could unblock. As I still had a Candida problem and my new PCP didn’t even like to say the word fungus, I found an herbal capsule on Amazon for Candida. To aid all this I found Xlear. Yes, it will burn, but soon after soothes and I have never seen anything that helps to clear my sinuses faster. I buy boxes of tissues by the case because I spit everything out as much as I can. Getting rid of fungus can cause “die-off” which feels nauseous and like the flu. It’s not for the faint of heart, but worth the effort. Fungal infections in the sinuses and ears are very much like bacteria infections. Your doc looks in you ear and sees red and gives you an antibiotic. This only makes the fungal infections worse. Bacteria, the good ones, fight fungus. Read up on it on the valid medical web sites. Avoid all others...they are just trying to sell something. Good luck finding an MD or ENT that knows anything about fungal infections! The ENTs I encountered only cared about giving allergy shots, doing minor surgeries and writing scripts. I lived in very humid areas all my life. I gardened without gloves and it turns out there’s lots of fungi in dirt. I repaired slot machines in Atlantic City Casinos for 20 years! No wonder I’m a fungus survivor poster child! Xlear does clear out the sinuses and will help them to stay clear. I still use it daily and have no use for decongestants that will dry everything up inside my sinuses again. Good luck.

I’ve been using this for almost 4 months and I love it. I am prone to sinus infections and after a bad bout in December of back to back colds, turning into a sinus infection the week of Christmas!!! I had had enough. I remembered someone telling me about this spray along time ago and that they hadn’t had a sinus infection since. So, I gave it a go. It burned like hell when I started using it during a sinus spell. But eventually it cleared the infection and stopped burning. My kids (7 and 3) had also had a rough start since the school year so I purchased the kids version for them. They use it every night unless they’re “sick”. I use mine 2-4 times a day. My sinuses are actually draining! When I used to breathe in, my one nostril wouldn’t close. Now, it closes just the same at the other. My kids have had tiny colds since starting the regimen but what I noticed is they clear quickly and it seems to Lower the viral load so that the rest of us don’t get it! I’m a believer in this product and will always have it on hand. I def ramp up our usage if those around us at work/school are sick and so far so good! I’m hopeful next fall will be better for us if we keep up with this year round!

This is a good nasal spray. I like the taste, and I appreciate that it’s not addictive. Sometimes I feel a slight burning sensation in my nose, which makes me feel like it’s flushing out the dust and clearing my nasal passages. My only complaint is the price. If it were a bit more affordable, I would definitely give it 5 stars.

I haven't ever written a review before but this stuff deserves one. I have been struggling with sinus headaches, ears were stuffed, slight cough and runny nose since we started staying home in March from the pandemic. Maybe being in close proximity to my pets all day was causing allergies. I usually get sinus issues in the spring and fall but they are mild and I can usually clear them up but this year has been different. I was taking allergy medicine everyday, which would alleviate it a bit but then I found xlear. I have been using it for 5 days now and the difference is just amazing. Almost everything has cleared up. I don't wake up coughing in the night anymore, my nose is completely clear all night when I sleep and when I wake up. My ear is still a bit stuffed but is much better. I haven't gotten any sinus headaches or pain since I started using it. If you have sinus issues at all this stuff is amazing! Added benefit is that it kills virus' in the nasal passage and can be a great preventative tool to Covid 19 since the virus builds up in your nasal passages. I really hope they get this approved for use, I spray my nose now whenever I go out and whenever I come back if I know I'll be near people.

I've been a fan of Xlear for years now. I heard about it on Louder with Crowder and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed.

I use daily. Helps clear caustic eye drops as they drain down one of the tubes aggravating and plugging up my nose.
