Great, Comfy Wool Socks
Because I like to bike year round, I purchased these (2) pair of merino wool socks for those cold days. Unfortunately, I got them during the winter months. They are 70% merino wool, but pretty, so my feet stay warm, but not to the extent I would like. I feel they will be optimal for those days when temps are in the 50s. Right now, I use them in temps between 35-45 degrees F. I double up with some thick cotton socks and with my toe covers, my feet stay warm.I love how they are snug, conforming to the contours of my feet. I generally wear size 12US footwear (47-48EU) and they fit very well, stretching where they need to do so, providing adequate comfort. I ordered XL based on the sizing chart, and it was accurate. With a 6" cuff, they reach to just below my calf muscles. They are tight enough prevent them from sliding down to my ankle, but not tight enough to leave an unwanted mark, adding to its comfort design. The interior of the socks at the toes do not have any uncomfortable stitching, which is a plus.I hope to update this post once I get the opportunity to wear these socks in 50-60 degree weather. Overall, a great buy!

That's a no for me dawg... I'll still buy Giro everything else.
I honestly love Giro prodi, but this sock fell short. I will start off by saying the winter Giro merino wool socks are fantastic! These seasonal socks had a very annoying seam inside rubbing my toes the wrong way, same feeling I get with Defeet socks. Pretty disappointed after the winter socks being amazing. Also I mentioned I love Giro products, it's because they all have fit so we'll... The helmet, both winter and summer gloves, the shoes! I just don't like these socks.

Great cool-weather socks
Merino wool is the bomb! (In a good way.) I feel that I've reviewed this product already--twice, maybe thrice--because I like the socks so much I bought more for myself and some for my husband, who likes them as much as I do. They're thin but much warmer in the chilly weather than synthetics. Merino is famous, also, for wicking and for not stinking. I haven't given them the nose test, but I can attest to my feet don't feel sweaty in them. I should say that I don't cycle when it gets much below 40, and if I did I'd have booties over my shoes anyway, so if you live in a really cold place don't expect magic.

5 so I figured it would be fine. Anyway
I ordered a Large and it is a tad small. I wear a 10.5 so I figured it would be fine. Anyway, once they're on, they feel really nice riding in them. I'll totally order another pair, but I'll bump up the size one notch.

Sizing waaaaay too big!
I carefully used the sizing chart to find the correct size. I am a euro size 36 so I thought the small could potentially be a little roomy for me since 36 is the low end of the small range. But when they arrived they were ridiculously too big. Like the small fit my partner whose a size 43 perfectly (which should be a large according to their size chart). Compare the photos of my partner wearing the sock and me. Notice that the heel cup on me is way up my Achilles’ tendon... basically if I put my cycling shoes on the heel cup would stick out the top of the back of my shoe and look ridiculous. Unacceptable

Excellent!
Really solid bike sock. The Large fits nicely (I wear 10EE in running shoes and 44 in cycling) and the colors are great. The wool feels a bit warmer than a standard sock, and the material it isn't too thin, but for sub 40 temperatures you'll still want your shoe covers.

A Cycling Sock for all Seasons.
I love Giro socks. I wear the HRC Team sock for my road rides. This is my first pair of Giro wool socks. I had heard great reviews about them so I bought them. I now have used them in multiple rides and in different weather temperatures. I am surprised how comfortable they are in the hot summer temps and I am sure they will work in my Southern California winters. The wool material does easily catch / snag on branches or plants when I ride off-road, but no holes have developed though. I will definitely consider buying more of these socks.

Quality equals comfort
(1) I like Merino wool. (2) Giro makes good products. (3) I have tried many non-wool socks on my Lake CX176 and Lake CX401 and MX237 shoes ISorry I can wear Giro shoes due to the narrow last) and without a quality Merino Wool sock I am constantly aware of my feet while riding. The Giro socks allow me to not even think about my feet and I have averaged 118 miles per week since 1/1/21. Clay
