This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one endured intensive, daily use for over three years. Finally, the collar around the ball broke, and there was no way to position my iPad. The only criticism I have is that the little silicon plugs cover the adjusting set screws are full off and get lost. This doesn’t affect the function of the stand but it would be nice if they would stay put. This stand is well designed, astonishingly durable, and good looking. It fires on all cylinders and I recommend it.

My son has been using this stand for 9 months now and it has held up well. It was perfect for him to use making stop motion video, and now he uses it to watch shows and video chat. I have been pleased with how well it has worked for him.

This thing is a little unwieldy but the mounting and movement options are pretty nice. Would be even cooler if it could actually hold up my iPad without slowing falling down. Works great for phones, though!

I bought this so I could use my iPad Air (4th gen) in the kitchen. It grips it well, and under the rubber caps on the hinges is access for the provided Allen wrench so you can make the hinges as tight as you want. There is a ball-joint that snaps into a socket on the back of the tablet “clamp” with a screw-down cap that tightens the socket around the ballpoint to you can increase resistance there enough to adjust the angle to wherever you need. The ball joint also rotates left to right so you can have that added adjustment.

I am using this holder for my IPad while cooking. I’ve attached it to the outside of my cabinet above the counter where I do all my prepping. Yes, it looks a little funny, but it’s my kitchen! I couldn’t mount it underneath as there is a lip around the cabinet that would keep me from removing the holder to use as a stand.The product is very sturdy and installation was a breeze. You do have to use the allen wrench that is included to tighten up the joints, but that’s a no-brainer.

I have been looking for a stand that raises my iPad higher off the table. I found that most stands are compact and my IPad sits lower to the table which makes me hunch over more causing my neck to hurt and that I am also developing a rounded over posture. I wanted a stand that makes me look forward, not down and I am sitting up straight. I also like the fact that I can adjust the angle of my iPad in many different positions.The only dislike is when typing on my iPad screen is the pad shakes. If I am doing a lot of typing, I use my Bluetooth keyboard.

Just as described. Only complaint is that sometimes my tablet is heavy so the stand will droop amd move
