Jamo Studio Series S 805 HCS-BLK Black Home Cinema System

The item was described as new, sold by Amazon, and it clearly was NOT. The box was all torn, and taped shut so it wouldn't fall apart during shipping, styrofoam all broken inside the box. Again, clearly someone had already opened this and had put it back together...I proceeded to inspect, and one of the towers was clearly dropped by someone on one of its corners, damaging it. I am really upset. It is also missing the screws that attach the feet of the tower speakers. Out of the 8 feet that comprise 4 for each tower, half of them were not in their plastic bag; Another clear indication that the product was already used/opened.Now, as far as the speakers themselves, they sound good. Not great, but good. They certainly are NOT worth the $600 I paid for them. More like $350. They did provide a marginal improvement in sound over the Yamaha satellite speakers that they replaced, but again, for 600 dollars, no, not worth it. The speakers are much smaller than what appears in the pictures. As small as the palm of a large hand. Sound loudness is OK with my Yamaha receiver cranked up, and sound quality is solid, but nothing out of the ordinary. Buyer BEWARE! Amazon is selling open box products as if they were new!

Absolutely love the speakers! They sound amazing. The only complaint is that they arrived with one broken S 805 speaker cover. Entered a support ticket with Jamo (Klipsch) but after 7 days they have not responded to the ticket. It shows that the ticket status is open, so hopefully they will remedy the issue. Will update this review soon. If they continue to ignore the broken speaker cover will downgrade the review to 3 stars. If they stand behind their product and provide a new speaker cover will upgrade this review to 5 stars.
