Sherlock: The Return of Sherlock Holmes Paperback – September 1, 2014

My son was reading his hardback edition and taking too long. I remembered I had this one and passed him! I missed not having “pictures “, sometimes they helped tell the story. It didn’t matter, I borrowed my son’s book for those! This is a great classic to own at an excellent price.

I love both Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson! It was so satisfying to have this comprehensive anthology of their exploits all in one volume. So hand to pick out a story in the evening and be carried away to London and outskirts. The writing of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is so descriptive and the characters so incredibly human it is a treat to read over and over.

I've seen the shows, watched the movies, then finally started reading the books. They are very enjoyable to read; love the character development and the intricate plots! Not too wordy -- just really good, wholesome, entertaining stories.

Half the fun of the Adventure of the Dancing Men story is trying to decode the symbols - if the symbols aren't included, the fun is gone.I don't understand why the symbols are missing from so many of the various Kindle editions of this book. Kindle books routinely include illustrations these days. So a few symbols should not be a challenge.

My sister got me this for Christmas, and I am so pleased with it! It is a really nice copy of this book!

I bought these as a gift and the person loved it. When you are getting a gift that is all that really matters.

Good book for the money , you can't beat this bargain to go back to the classics of English novels of suspense

I have read all these short stories before and know them well. They are excellent. I bought the Kindle version and was disappointed to find American spelling.
