2018 Starbucks Holliday Red Reusable Travel Cup - (Grande 16 Oz)3 pack

Never got to see the original cups in the stores, so I don't have much of a comparison. The plastic felt thinner than I expected. The lid felt like a tight seal to me, so that was good. However, I don't know if it was the same manufacturer or a different maker, but I was expecting a more malleable lid and, as mentioned before, thicker plastic. For hot liquids, I suggest getting a carboard sleeve or saving one or three for future use as the plastic does get really hot with hot beverages. You still get a discount for bringing in your cup, but the code for this year (2019) is not the same as printed on the cup. However, most of the baristas will know the code to give you the discount anyways, so there is that. Not a bad cup, just not what I expected is all.

Read the reviews before buying anything. That was my first mistake. The cups themselves are fine. However, they are NOT what the picture advertised them to be. I specifically ordered the cups shown in the picture. If I wanted something different, I would have ordered something different. The fact that something was advertised and I received something completely different is frustrating. But it seems like a lot of people have had that issue with this seller.

I like the color but the lid that goes with it does not seem like the right size because it goes hot snap in place even if you press hard. Instead I use the lid from the disposable tumbler.
