Review: At this price-point, my favorite casein so far - Casein typically doesn’t taste as smooth as whey—it’s naturally a wee bit gritty—but Dymatize blends and tastes better than most others I’ve tried, other than Optimum Nutrition. I prefer the ON cookies and cream to this one, but just barely, as I think it taste a little better, but it costs more. So, price relative to value, this is my go-to. This is a micellar casein, which is the best and least processed form of casein, which means it costs a little more than others. I take 50gs before bed, since you need more casein to stimulate muscle protein synthesis than with whey, but with casein it delivers over a much longer duration than whey, which is short-acting. I take it at bed after workout nights, but I’ll take just 25 on non-workout nights, if I think I’m out of the muscle-protein-synesthis window. I’ll take it at 50 g during the day if I don’t have time to make a meal and it’ll be a while before I can eat. This brand and flavor tastes good enough (and a lot better than Body Tech’s, and it mixes better, too), and I think it helps me sleep a tad bit better. I usually blend up a banana with it for some added fiber and carbs. The only con I can think of is that the caps on these are peculiarly stubborn to remove upon the initial opening, but just at first. I hope this review is helpful to somebody.

**Q: Is this item lactose free ?**
A: It has very low amounts, if at all. I have lactose intolerance and I can have this perfectly fine.

**Q: I ordered the rich chocolate, even though it says sugar is 0 grams why is it so sweet?**
A: It contains sucralose and stevia 
Says >1 g Sugars 
FYI no protein powder taste good without this or real sugar.

**Q: Am I able to return this if I do not end up liking it?**
A: Yes, it can be returned, it says "This item is returnable" right under where is says "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" - I personally really like this protein but I have returned other protein powders I've purchased off Amazon because they were absolutely terrible tasting.

**Q: How many CCs is the scooper?**
A: Each serving size is 2 scoops. 2 scoops = 33g

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid option for casein protein mix

Mixes easily, and tastes better than most protein powders. Doesn’t give me indigestion and I use around 3 scoops every night before bed. Is a little pricey, but not bad for the quality.
