PARFASE iPhone XR Case, Genuine Cowhide Leather Cover Shock Absorption Bumper Cover Anti-Scratch Back Phone Case for Apple iPhone XR 6.1 inch (Black)

Just received today (Monday - November 12, 2018). This is my initial review of this case for my new Apple XR. If things change over the next few to several days or whenever, I reserve the right to update this review. With that said, it's "Terrific". Looks and feels great. Nice tight fit, but keep in mind that its brand new so only time will tell if it will keep its tightness. Apple currently doesn't have their actual Apple XR case, they only have some other brand. Their price for this other brand is $40.00 and I'm not sure it's even leather, so this Parfase "Genuine Cowhide" is a pretty good deal. I bought it in black. Nice feel to it and looks. So for now, I give it 5 Stars. Lets see how the next few days to few weeks go. BTW, I take exceptional good care of all my items and this new case and new iPhone XR will always be taken good care of. My previous 6+ was just traded in over the weekend and the sales representative commented on it that it looked brand new. Not even one scratch and I had the original box. Hope this helps others who might be looking at this particular Parfase XR case.

I always splurge and get the leather apple one, but they’re not making them for the XR. I like the way leather opens up after having it for a week or so, I saw the reviews and someone said it was an apple clone so I got it. I was worried it would come with silver buttons which is not me, but to my surprise it came with black metal ones! The leather is nice, thick and I can tell it’s gonna last.

Some reviewers mentioned that the buttons didn't work, but I took the chance and ordered it anyway. When I took the case out of the box, it felt nice and seemed to be made well. The case fit my Xr perfectly, but I was disappointed when the buttons didn't work...I thought, "I should have listened to those other reviewers!" But I took the case off and pressed the buttons a bit to see what the issue was. I guess pressing the buttons somewhat firmly without the case on helped stretch the material because the case worked fine afterward. No issues with the buttons.The case feels nice...the leather is easy to grip and the case doesn't add too much bulk to the phone. The more I've used it, the better the grip has become. Seems to protect the phone well enough. I'd recommend this to a friend to buy. It's exactly what I wanted.

As of this writing, Apple has not introduced any leather cases for the XR. This is the closest I have been able to find. Just received it and seems to fit well, slim, sharp looking case, buttons work well, very pleased with this case! Highly recommend. 😉😎👍🏼

I did a bit of research before buying this case and decided on it because it was the only leather case I could find on Amazon that had metal buttons, no embossed logo on the outside, and a ring around the camera hole. This case looks and feels just like the leather cases Apple has been producing for their phone's for years and I honestly can't imagine that any other third party case could do it better than this one. If it wasn't for the missing Apple logo, I'd think it was the real deal.

Great leather smell when I opened. Fits like a glove. Wish it had some more colors and it had a bit better front lip on it. Probably won’t give the most protection but it will look very stylish!

I bought this case in December. Today it hit the parking lot from the top of my car. It really did it’s job. It hit on the lower right corner of the phone and protected the phone perfectly. Not a scratch! It messed up the case so much I ordered a new one today. I highly recommend this case. You will like how it looks, feels, and protects.

This case is clearly not cowhide leather as advertised. It's a squishy pleather material, which has a chemical smell and no grain. The case itself seems well constructed and the buttons worked flawlessly (for the all of 10 minutes I had it before repackaging), but calling this leather is false advertising. The running review theme of "just like Apple" is a joke and suspicious activity IMHO.
