WHERES KEVIN???????
I think home alone 2 is better than the first it is the same senareo that kevin is on his own only this time the family are going on holiday and a neighbour same age and height as Kevin is included in the head count when in fact Kevin is in the attic; no he is'nt left home alone but at the airport he follows a man who has similar clothing and hair colouring as his father so he thinks he's right in following what he thinks is his father which is where the mix up comes about he gets on the airplane to New York. Once their he soon realizes that he has lost his family yet again and as he still has his dads luggage he soon finds his credit card and using a toy recorder he is able to fake that he is Mr Mccallister and books in at a high class hotel where he is soon ordering whatever food he fancies. Meanwhile his family are trying their best to get home for Christmas to see Kevin when a check on the credit card reveals that it has been used in New York then the family do everything they can to get to New York. The Wet Bandits have escaped from jail and Kevin literally bumps into them of course they want to seek revenge on him for his earlier antics in home alone 1. They confess to Kevin they intend to rob the toy store. Kevin then decides he will stop them and again sets traps and stunts take place. Eventually the two bandits are safely behind bars and Kevin is reunited with his mother then the rest of the family. Brilliant family film..... well worth buying

Festive fun
Great family festival viewing. Almost as good as the first - unusual in a sequel save the spaghetti westerns. A nice cameo by Brenda Trucker.

A Great Sequel!
The production of "Home Alone 2" spared no expenses, and the result is that rarity of rarities, a sequel that rivals the original in quality and fun. This review is for the single movie DVD of "Home Alone 2". There's scene selection, captioning, and trailers for "Home Alone 1, 2, and 3". The picture and sound are very crisp. Even though "Home Alone 2" was filmed within a couple of years of the original, I'm impressed that virtually the entire cast is back! Macaulay Culkin as Kevin leads the way, and shows once again that he's one of the screens's top comedic actors. I need to send special kudos to "newcomers" to Kevin's capers Tim Curry and Rob Schneider. They add lots of zip to the hotel world of Kevin. Especially Schneider in his understated comedic support brilliance. So often in other roles on-screen he's bringing the low brow dash of poor taste. He's SO much better here, as a nice guy, an everyman. Great job! Leaving no stone unturned, John Hughes and company even employed six "pigeon wranglers"! Watch for their names in the rolling credits at film's end. Oh; and the family home from the original "Home Alone" is back, too. I don't know about Buzz' tarantula. Not seen on camera this go-round. However, the fuzzy spider may have been napping! That, however, would be tough to do with Uncle Frank's crooning of "Cool Jerk"! (Ironic song choice for Kevin's Uncle, eh?). Anyone who enjoyed "Home Alone" will love this sequal because it stays so true to the original. Highly Recommended!
