Exotic Peacock Double Amaryllis Bulb - 26/28 cm Bulb

Flowers and foliage did not grow as tall as expected. Blooms where small. I gave as a gift and was disappointed in the end product.

This Amaryllis is from a bulb I gave to my daughter at Christmas 2022. I had my doubts about quality if buying online, but as shown, it turned out beautifully. It did seem to grow a bit differently than Amaryllis she's grown in past, as it didn't do anything for about a month before a shoot started. So if you get one and it seems to be dead, hang on to it for a while. But if it's shriveled you might contact the vendor.

I am so glad I spent the money for this bulb. First, it came in good condition. I placed it on my computer desk so I could watch it grow. It seemed to explode overnight. It grew about an inch a day, then two glorious blossoms and another one on the way. Good buy!Later: This bulb is now on it's second bloom - three more gorgeous flowers that last 2 weeks. I am over the moon about this bulb. And it comes from USA, not China!

When we first got bulb it didn’t seem to do anything. We even contacted the seller and they said just give it time. Well, they were right. Eventually it grew into a very beautiful flower.

This was the second year in a row that I've ordered amaryllis bulbs and was disappointed with them. Other bulbs that I've bought in stores bloom beautifully. I don't know why there's a difference but I give up.

Viewing lovely flower

Like most amaryllis bulbs, this took a while to begin growing. Once it did it grew tall very quickly. I produced one thick stalk wit three lovely WHITE single flower blooms. It's beautiful, but not what I paid for.

I planted these bulbs outside 18 months ago (US hardiness zone 10) and they bloomed within a 1-2 weeks. The flowers withered quickly and the leaves grew throughout the year. Hurricane Irma damaged the leaves a bit, but they survived. Now, they are blooming with big, beautiful red and white flowers. There are 6 flowers per shoot and the bulbs have obviously multiplied. Very nice addition to my garden.

Was searching for amaryllis bulb kits and the double peacock came up with picture of the flower on the side of the box with an inset showing flower in a pot. Cost was $20.95.. When I received product it is just the bulb not a kit or even in a box. Product description is very deceiving as it appears to be a kit. Bought as a gift but is of no use this way. Very disappointed

This is too beautiful for words, it is so much prettier than the picture. It has 2 stalks of blooms with 5 on each stalk. You have to see this in person to see how gorgeous it really is. I would recommend this to anyone!
