It holds 5 cups of tea (I measure it from a measuring cup) which means that you can fill up almost 8 full cups from this collection because they are smaller than a regular size cup (it would fill 3.5 regular coffee cups). - The tea pot has a filter inside the tea pot which is a nice feature - The tea pot lid works well and stay put. You will want to still hold it for more security but it stays put.
