Must use with good lighting
I have mixed feeling about this adapter. Don't expect very good results in lower light settings, it's not very accurate, so I just use the Manuel focus in those settings. If the area has good lighting it works well. But being able to change aperture is great and it is well built... but on that note, it is over priced. There's not a lot of options out there with these features, unless you have more money to burn trying them all. I still recommend it, just don't expect factory results

A must have if you're moving from Canon to Fuji GFX
I bought a 50R as my new travel camera along with the 32-64mm, 120mm, and 23mm lenses. However, I have more than a dozen Canon EF lenses so I figured I'd try this adapter out before selling them all and I'm very glad I did. Every one of the first four lenses I've tried work great. They may not cover the complete sensor, but cropping is easy in PS and the 50R actually has a 35mm sensor mode if you like shots straight out of the camera. Focus is slow, as you'll read elsewhere, but not nearly is bad as I expected. About one shot in 10 I have to refocus before taking the shot. I'm shooting travel, not sports, so this is not an issue for me. Especially since when this happens it's always obvious in the viewfinder. The only knock I have is there's absolutely no documentation, but thus far that hasn't stopped me from figuring everything out.I've included a couple jepgs straight out of the camera for review. The indoor shot is the Canon 85mm f/1.2 shot wide open, ISO 1600, 1/240th, focused on the closest eye, with the 50R using the full sensor. The outdoor shot is the Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 at 400mm, shot at 5.6, ISO 400, 1/300th, also focused on the closest eye, with the 50R set to use the 35mm portion of the sensor.

IS DOESNT WORK
I've tried this with multiple IS lenses and none of them work with the adapter. Focus is snappy with most lenses, but my Kipon adapter works in every way, but the autofocusing is a little slower with some lenses. I also emailed Techart about my issue and never got an email back.
