50-lb. Kite Spool with 500' of Twisted Dacron Line

I bought this kite spool for an experiment with an 8' diameter weather balloon. The dacron line is superb in strength as it withheld 30 cubic feet of helium that I put in my big balloon.The design is simple and pretty straightforward in using. Though, it would be nice if the spool had some kind of motored line to reel the 500' worth of line back in. I suggest that you pace yourself when retrieving your line and expect a stronger pair of forearms from this workout. The other suggestion I have to improve the design and function of the spool is if there is a pre-made notch for the line to catch onto, in case you want to stake the spool end into the ground and allow your hands to be free to handle other things without having to worry about the line unraveling.

Lots of line and easy to hold. Decent string too. Would buy again.
