Peter Chan has a way of explaining things in his books and on line videos that are down to earth and easy to understand. In this book Peter goes into depth on basic and advanced techniques on bonsai with clear words and illustrations. I’ve read myriad classic texts on Bonsai and Penjing and feel that Peter Chan is one of the very best along with John Naka (Bonsai Techniques 1 & 2.).

Peter Chan's "Masterclass" is a beautifully illustrated, excellently written book. For a beginner or experienced bonsai enthusiast this is a must-have for your collection. Highly recommend.

I like the book. I am just a beginner, that's why it probably contains too much information.

An well wríte, beautifully illustrated, and very informative book.

Some bonsai books are picture books that inspire with the look of amazing trees.This book presents amazing pictures of trees accompanied with many oriental prints that hold the nature of those bonsai presentations.Mr. Chan also writes about the history of the art and of his personal joy and growth in interpretation expression. Lovely!

Really disappointed it is not a masterclass at all but a brief brush of the related elements.No better than the other drivel written on the subject.Author should be held accountable for lying on the cover.

This book was delivered and provided in the condition which the seller stated, so great service there. The book itself is ok and provides a good overview of the subject. I however wad looking for more details and would suggest there are other more indepth publications available. That said i like the book and will be keeping it
