Do i need to buy a charging dock with this or can it be recharged via a regular usb connection? thanks.

The boom three will charge with a regular USB connection. You don’t need to charge the case

Can someone please tell me the internal dimensions of the padded part if the case (without the bit for the plug)?

The padded size is to suit the Boom 3 speaker - 19cm long x 8cm width (radius)

Would this fit an ortizan bluetooth speaker by any chance?

I don't know. I purchased this for the Boom 3, which fits perfectly, but not sure if it will be suitable for a different speaker - would suggest you check the Ortizan speaker size verses the Boom 3 before purchasing
