Its better than nothing!
Definitely saved the mattress but it moves and scrunches up a lot - my 3 and 4 year old haven't complained about it so I just leave as is. Its better than nothing!October 2014 Update:After writing this review the company had reached out to me regarding my concern. They were very understanding and offered to take back the Brolly Sheets and fully refund me. I wasn't completely unhappy with them to return them but they went back and forth with me to come up with the solution and suggested bedding clips that will keep them in place - so just keep this in mind when purchasing. They have worked great but now even better with the clips to hold them in place.Even though I had to buy additional items for this to work they had great customer service...and sometimes that is more appreciated.

Best sheet protectors
I have twin six year old boys who both still wet the bed. I have tried many sheet protectors over the years and have found these to be my favorites for several reasons. 1. They are large enough to cover the entire surface of the mattress - no edges left unprotected. 2. The material on the side is plenty long to get a good strong tuck so it doesn't come up during the night - even with very squirmy sleepers like mine. 3. They wash beautifully! The problem with some of the other brands we tried was that after many washings, the material underneath was shrinking, but not the material on top. Therefore, we were left with a very lumpy surface. Not on these!!! We have washed these dozens of times already and they are still Perfect!! 4. Lastly, they are not hot. This was very important since we live in Texas. With many of the waterproof pads, our boys would be drenched in sweat when we went to get them up in the night. Not with these. They are just like sleeping on the sheet. It would seem I forgot about effectiveness. Yes, they are very effective at keeping the sheet dry underneath. Both our boys sleep in a pull up but it still frequently leaks during the night. You would expect any pad to be able to handle leakage. But one night, one of my boys forgot to put on his pull up and went to bed in underwear. By 2:00a.m. he was SOAKED! He was so wet I had to shower him off instead of just a wipe down. I took the pad off to replace it with a dry one and the sheet underneath was perfectly dry. Yeah!! I highly recommend these!!

Great...as long as they pee in the "right" spot...
First of all, I'd like to say that this mattress protector works great. However, I'm wondering, why doesn't the protective area cover the whole mattress?! My son, who is 3, has wet the bed approximately 5 times in the last year, and 3 of the 5 times his mattress ended up getting soaked with urine because he was positioned too far up on the mattress pad. So I tried folding it differently and moving it upwards towards his pillow more. Then he somehow moved in the night and the bottom area of his mattress got soaked. So instead of saving me hassle in the middle of the night, I end up having to try getting urine out of the mattress rather than simply changing the mattress protector and sheets. I would definitely buy more of these, but only IF they make it to cover the WHOLE mattress! Kids move when they sleep! Plus, it tends to bunch up a lot when my son wiggles around.

Must Have, Need 2
My son took to potty training very well. We have only had a couple accidents outside of night time and he's very aware of when he needs to go and such. However... he's a sound sleeper. Or something, I don't know. Whatever it is, once he got through the excitement of being a big boy and not wearing diapers, he started sleeping through .. the urge to go. It only happens about once a week or less, and with our initial hopes that he would "fix" himself we simply ordered one of the Brolly sheets (actually, we got this before we let him not have a diaper at night just in case). The sheet is fantastic. Does exactly what it's intended to do, stays put (if you put it on properly with the flaps under the mattress), keeps the mattress dry, washes and dries without issue. I'm temped to order a larger size, perhaps the queen, because I'm guessing that would cover the *entire* mattress, but we have never needed it to be larger. It's probably the size of a toddler/crib mattress, plus the "wings" to tuck under the mattress. These are really a pain, and a strap or something would be much better though I have no idea how that would work and so I can't fault the design. I mean, I can, and I do every time I put the stupid thing on, but it is still a sleep saver at 2 am when all I have to do is rip it off and change the sheets (we keep it under the sheets... though now I'm rethinking that method...).We haven't used any other pad or protector, I know there are cheaper out there, but this is worth the money. There's a 2 pack and if I could do it over again, I'd get that and save a few bucks.

waterproof sheet protector
The sheet isn't very soft but stays in place and is easy to put on.

Potty training sanity saver
We have had two of these for almost a year now and I just ordered two more for my next potty trainer. My current potty training toddler still wets the bed a few times a week. This fits perfectly on her single bed. The wings tuck fine and neither pad has ever leaked. We throw them in the washer with regular laundry soap and white vinegar, sometimes some Borax, to ensure that the pee-pee smell washes out. We then put it straight in the dryer. No problems. These were a game changer for us in the potty battle and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Leaks through and smell doesn't wash out well
Using it for a daily night-wetter but it usually leaks through (never soaked underneath, but always slightly damp and smelly). Bought two and for some reason the red always leaks while the green doesn't so maybe we just got a bad one. In addition, after the first few weeks of use, the smell doesn't really come out after washing. If are dealing with small and infrequent bed-wetting, it would probably work well, but it doesn't for us unfortunately.

Really love this sheet
Really love this sheet! No more vinyl that falls apart- it does shift around over time but overall the best prevention for under the sheets.
