JORESTECH Eyewear Protective Safety Glasses, Polycarbonate Impact Resistant Lens Pack of 12 (Clear, Pink)

I purchased these for my daughter to use for a florescent and phosphorescent mineral science project. I wanted to be sure they protected against the UV light we would be using so I learned how to properly test. To test, you shine a UV light at an object that has special UV reflective properties, such as money. If the lens blocks the UV light, you will not see the special UV reflective strip but will still see the beam shine through.As you can see from the attached pictures, the bill reflects the strip without any glasses in between. When I placed the JORESTECH clear glasses in front of the beam, I still saw the strip reflected, though dimmed somewhat. When I placed a set of trustworthy UV protective glasses in front you can see from the picture, it still shined the purple light through, but the strip was no longer reflected. The test proves that the JORESTECH glasses DO NOT BLOCK UV light.Also attached are all of the promises that these glasses do indeed block UV light, which they clearly do not.They also say they are made of polycarbonate, but every resource I could find says that polycarbonate blocks 99.9% of UV light. They may not even be made from that material!

very blurry on at least half the pairs. It is either the coating or the actual plastic itself. I tried on 5 and only one was passable. These do not have any OSHA or other certification marks. There are certified glasses out there for only about $1 more per dozen..... Get those instead. I did a search for 'pyramex'

The price is too good to be true. Shipped fast but product is horrible to look through. Bubbly like texture on lenses make it hard to focus. Not safe to look through When doing something important. Very annoyed. Try to take a picture through the lens but it does not show in the picture.

Completely Satisfied.I needed some clean glasses for night work that required me to wear safety glasses on a construction site. I needed them in two days and said what the heck. Since I don't like scratched glasses and always buy in bulk I chose this deal on Amazon. Very satisfied.They came packaged in two six packs which was great. One pack went in the truck the other in my safety box at home. I figured over the course of a few weeks I would go through two or three pairs with drops and steps on and scratches or just lost. Only lost one pair that I found later. Pretty scratch resistant and I was cleaning them constantly from all the road dust from cutting and grinding.These did not squeeze my head and are very light weight. The curve is great so as to no loose peripheral vision. Definitely buy if you are considering.I paid full price and am no compensated for my rating.

Purchased the first set for a Nerf battle birthday party (8-9yr olds) --- I know "you'll shoot your eye out" applies to a BB gun, but still :). Sent these home with the guys. They and their moms appreciated a take home that was useful. They were all intact --- and at 2 months later, the ones left at our house are still going strong. Am purchasing again!

I'm 100% satisfied with these glasses, and I wear them doing anything that might involve any danger to my eyes. I have different pairs in different locations for convenience sake and to provide a "no excuse for not wearing them" situation. As of yet, I have not had anything hit me near my eyes that would do any damage, but if that does happen I have confidence that these glasses will protect my eyes. They seem as sturdy and as well designed as any other safety glasses that I have purchased in the past. Good deal.

Average sets of safety glasses. Fit like any other pair. I have a larger skull so these are a little snug like every other pair I've ever owned. Same quality as well. I work with metal and trust these as much as the ones I was initially provided. They don't scratch too easy and work as expected. 4 stars for being average, nothing special and nothing bad about them

I bought a twelve pack of JORESETECH clear safety glasses in 2016 and wore them full time at work for four years, they fit snug and definitely saved my eyes more than a few times. Five stars for that order.I ordered another pack a bit over a month ago but didn't open them until last week and when I tried them on they felt loose, if I looked down they would slip halfway off. All the pairs I checked in the pack were the same. It was too late to return them. Hoping I got a bad batch I ordered again, this pack is the same. Just to be sure I wasn't imagining things I compared them closely to my original glasses, you can see in the pictures how much wider the new ones are spread out compared to the 2016 order, which explains why they slip off.

What you buy is what you get applies to these glasses. Although they are light, comfortable and good for the price paid, it fails in the most important aspect...visibility. the glasses have warped lensed which make it difficult to see details and they scratch very easily. If you want cheap, buy it, if you want quality, spend more for scratch resistant, crystal clear glasses.

Do not stay on your face. Keeps falling off. Very disappointing
