Slightly Loose Fit - Fingers & Gaps are not perfectly equal
It only took a couple of attempts to get this set up for cuts on several different width materials. So far I've tested box joints on 6mm (actually 5.6mm) and 12mm PLY, 10mm Oak and 12mm Walnut.I was a little disappointed that the cutters are 4mm (4.06 on my calipers) but the gaps between the cutters on mine are only 3.6mm (measure on digital calipers). This means you end up with 3.6mm fingers going in to 4mm gaps, so it's not even remotely tight on a dry fitting, unlike my much larger jig where it takes a little persuasion to go together. You will be relying on glue making up the small gaps, which mostly works, so just be aware of this. Once sanded and finished you can make it look very decent. If the fit had been just a little tighter I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4.

Not great quality.. disappointed
Purchased this to assist in the production of a small pine box..Very disappointed, struggled to cut cleanly from the word go and was starting to rip and tear the wood..Spend more, buy quality..

perfect joint made with easy
used it today to join 22mm ply sheets to lay on joists so they would have no edges.the router bit was smooth when cutting and made a perfect join

Waste of money, not even spaces and teeth. Avoid.
It doesn't fit the purpose. Teath and gaps are different. It simply doesn't do the job.

Arrived in good order, and on time, well packaged, seems well made, time will tell.

Good for money
Cuts well just a little fiddly to get right, but they all are.

Recomend staggering the cutters to form a spirol.
Mounted the cutters staggered to make a spirol. The cutter worked smoothly and produced a superb joint. Highly delighted.D.P.
