Works as it should
This is designed to fit my specific pop-ups. It does the job. The only downside I would say is that I had one pop-up that was very stiff and applying additional pressure caused the teeth of the tool to bend. I had to bend it back into shape in order to get it to fit the slots again. Maybe the designers did it that way for a reason, but I wish it was a little bit firmer.

Necessary tool
Only way to reconnect our pool bottom jets.

Works but weak for the cost
The plastic used was weak so you have to be careful not to break it.

Good tool for Caretaker 99 pop-up issues.
I have a Caretaker 99 and one of the pop-up heads was stuck in the UP position. Rather than call a pool repair person, we wanted to see if we could get it to go back down - we did, but it later popped back up. This little tool isn't the most sturdy thing as it's all plastic (hence, the 4 stars), with a metal screw. So, it could break rather easily with the right force. You have to attach this contraption to any pool-cleaning-pole; you remove the screw contraption - place blue piece in pole - and then thread the screw through the pole's holes - then tighten the nut. Then you fit the extension arms into your pop-up head and turn it one way or another, depending upon whether you're trying to screw it in, or, out. I paid $14.42 for this part, and I wouldn't pay any more for it; in fact, I think it should be more like $9.99.

Same as the one that came with pool. Works great.

Works like it should.
The neck of the tool is too small for a standard pole. Even when the supplied bolt is tightened it flops around. It still works but better thought into design would go a long way.

Good for what it's intended for
It could be sturdier (i.e. metal) or have a nicer way of attaching to the pole but it does what it needs to. It's not flimsy at all and if you're just looking for a tool to remove and reinstall the popups in your own pool this is all you need. No reason to pay big bucks for the metal one.
