**Q: Is this safe to apply to bare metal or should the surface be primed first?**
A: Clean bare metal is fine.

**Q: What is the recommended ambient temperature range for applying this seam sealer?**
A: I use it between 50 and 90. Near 90 it almost skins too fast. I smooth it out with mineral spirits on a finger.

**Q: is it paintable?**
A: It says it's paintable, but I have not tried to paint it.

**Q: Can I fill a vertical seam without it running? Is it thick enough to stay in place on a vertical panel?**
A: Absolutely, vertical application can be applied. I did it.
