I really do love all of One Drop’s products. This is no exception
I really like One Drop, from their meters to their lancets. This is no exception. The amount of blood needed for a reading really is a small amount. A little really does go a long way. The One Drop meter (I know, this review isn’t about the meter) does great, with great readings, and that is in part due to the strips, I’m sure. The bottle is small enough for good portability and when used with the holder One Drop has for their meter, strips bottle, and lancet device it makes it super convenient. I am definitely a fan!

Okay for the price and if you have a ONE DROP meter
I have used One Drop which was raved about on the Apple.com site. Frankly it is harder to use than some others while being pretty accurate. The width of the test strip at the point it contacts your blood sample is narrower than others like the Bayer Contour NO-CODE strips and meter. The fact that the One drop test strip is coded (like many other brands) is a hit or miss as the blood sample may not be suitable to get a good reading and then you cannot reuse the strip which costs you more $ in the long run and also is just plain annoying. I have checked the accuracy against the Bayer Contour unit and it is very within 1 mg/dl which is fine. The BAYER was tested with a control solution and against a real laboratory test within 15 mins of each other and it is DEAD ON accurate. Bayer's no-code design is based on a newer protocol than the early no code designs (from 1990+) which were error-prone. It is just a better product ... I guess I will save this for another review :-)

Mistake Done Right!!
Thank you sending it in it’s proper box that says One Drop! Because before I was just getting the strip case only with the strips in it! Not the whole box with there name on it!! So again I’m glad 😊

Only for OneDrop meters
One drop is a reliable glucose meter and very compact. These are the test strips for that unit.

Great product, irritating rate of bad strips
I've been using OneDrop to monitor my glucose as my family has a predisposition to diabetes. I've mostly had no complaints with my experience, though I've noticed that for each container of strips I go through, around ten of them end up not working. Sometimes they give me an error code immediately upon inserting it into the reader, and sometimes they give me an error code once the drop of blood is applied. The only reason this is a concern is because the strips come out to about 50 cents apiece - not much in the scheme of things, but it starts adding up when you have failures often enough.

BEWARE
Be aware that this company is no longer making the OneDrop glucose meter and the test strips and needles are specific to the meters. THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENTS. They are changing their business model. I believe it is unethical for them to continue to sell their kits and the meter on Amazon without making it very clear that their products are obsolete. it was a great idea and worked well but not we have to invest in another system. Lesson learned, don't support a start up with your health support until they are proven and you have alternatives. Will be very diligent about looking for a potential universal strip.
