What is the cutting length? Am I missing it somewhere?

Hey Mike, you should know Amazon product descriptions are rarely complete or reliable.. but as a router bit customers relying on technical details, it falls on us to fend for ourselves and "JFGI" which really would be faster, and much more certain than relying on the ridiculus responses these product questions get (how many people do we really need to chime in only to say "I don't know, I bought it for.. blah blah". Take the seller name (routerbitworld) and the Amana part number, and stick those two things into a search engine and you'd be done. 3/8 Dia x 1/2 x 1/4 Inch Shank with Upper BB is what the seller's description shows on THEIR easy to locate web site, and that is defining DIA x CH x SHANK DIA where here CH = cutting heighth or what you called cutting length. But I'd urge you, don't trust my answer, it is easy enough to confirm on your own before you risk 32 bucks

what size is the shank?

It is as stated a 1/8 " shank. I snapped two of theses you need to work it slow
