Good quality
They definitely good for the price but I definitely gotta say I got hard-core improvement recommendations for the manufacturer from a hardcore hick that has kids, dogs, cats and has had livestock. Buy with improvement upgrade options for the connection plastic gate options, heavy zip ties work way better compared to using the pieces with the manufacturer name on to keep the metal gate pieces together, those parts are extremely cheap and won't even connect each other. But still recommend for a decent good quality gate.

Great buy!
We used this to block off our bedroom so that we could have better airflow without allowing the dogs in the room. Easy to install, easy to use, and perfect height!

Great for stairs
recently purchased the Regalo 2-in-1 Extra Tall Easy Swing Stairway and Hallway Walk Through Baby Gate, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The hardware-mounted design ensures a secure fit, and the included instructions made installation straightforward. It fits openings between 24” to 40.5” wide, which was perfect for our staircase.

Bad Design
I had very few options since my doorway is only 26 inches wide, so I had to get this one. It’s very hard to open and close. You have to lift up on it and then the pin at the bottom comes out, so almost every time it’s opened we have to take a minute to put it back together. It’s very frustrating.

5 month update: Decent product, terrible directions
Purchased: Regalo 2-in-1 Extra Tall Easy Swing Stairway and Hallway Walk Through Baby Gate, Black 1 Count / In use 5 months. Original review: I just unboxed this item. The directions are so small I can hardly read them with my glasses AND a magnifying glass. Also they should consider embossing some of the parts with its part number/letter because a at least 2 of the parts you can't tell which part goes with which picture on the printed instructions. Also, while the gate is metal all the wall mounts and the 4 couplers are hard plastic; the latch itself is plastic and rubber. After installing this unit, I can't imagine this latch will hold up in the long run and I'd have returned the unit if I didn't need something immediately. There are two latch units and 2 lower wall mounts depending on which way you want the gate to swing. (Latch holds up, see update below)There is a Youtube video for mounting model 1250 and 1255, however if you have the tall gate don't use the vertical measurements in the video. For those with children: Please see 'downside' under update below. For dog owners: My dog is a chewer. I used the plastic couplers at the top to secure the 2 gate segments together then used zip ties at the bottom instead of the plastic couplers. They would have lasted maybe an hour in my house.Update re: locking mechanism after 5 months of use. One side of the gate has 2 metal rods, one top and one bottom, the top fits into the locking mechanism and the bottom into a slot. The opposite side has 2 downward facing U shaped rods that fit into the upper and lower brackets and allow the gate to lift up enough to fit into the lock on other side.Upside: While you need one hand to unlock the gate, it can be closed hands free by using a foot to lift up the bottom which, for me, pops the top rod right into the lock. Then I use my forearm to push down on the top of the gate to secure the lock.Downside: If it the lock were to break, the gate would stay shut as the upper and lower rods will stay in the upper and lower slots. However if your toddlers are strong enough, they might be able to push the gate up from the bottom and open it. If there is too much of a gap between the floor and the bottom of the gate even a wee crawler might get under enough to cause the gate lift up and then open.
