This particular clock fits in my bedroom perfectly and to date keeps time very well and I can't ask for more than that. I also want to compliment whoever packed this item for shipment for I do believe a small bomb could have gone off next to it and it would have been fine. Great clock and great service. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely quiet *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2019* Has no back cover--as a wall clock might not. Uses one AA battery--instructions warn against using alkaline batteries, recommending carbon-zinc (what is that). I put in a lithium battery--hope it doesn't wreck the very ordinary, plastic-housed mechanism. Looks big for eight inches--quite legible in a room. Made in China, despite its "name." ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Clock *by I***P on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2020* I wanted an unobtrusive clock for the living room. This works well but is rather smaller than I envisioned it. It's nice looking but nothing special. A very Okay clock that works fine. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/88009521-8-wood-desk-clock-battery-operated-for-living-room-decor](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/88009521-8-wood-desk-clock-battery-operated-for-living-room-decor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
