Sun Ez-Sport-Alloy Rear Bike Rack (Black)

I got this for my Sun sport recumbent. It fit perfectly and was easy to mount. No problems and no complaints.

This bike rack is mounted on my EZ-Sport, but it did take a bit of manipulating to make it work (I also had to provide my own nuts & bolts).The shape of the EZ-Sport frame made it a bit difficult to bend the bike rack to work. You can see my solution in the pictures.overall, it works, and seems sturdy enough. Glad I picked it up.

This is made for a EZ Sport with small rear wheel. i have model with Large rear wheel (EZ Sport CX). this does not fit. THis should of been mentioned in the description or else they sent the wrong size. now i have to go thru the hassle of returning it. Even if it would fit there were nuts missing to attach it lugs on lower frame & directions were absolutely horrible.

Pro:This carrier is designed for the SUN recumbents (mine is an EZ Sport AX) and so it fits the built-in mount points and is easy to install, which is its big plas.The price is right as wellCon:I have not used this rack to carry any significant load yet, and also have only used a rack on one other recumbent, my Trice Q.In comparison to the OEM Trice rack, this one is not nearly as robustly built, and is also made of aluminum. There are no guards to prevent the bags swining into the spokes at the rear if the bags and mounts are not well designed.In addition, the seat supports can interfere with saddle bag fit: this is the bike design, not an issue with the rack per se, and is also dependent on the type of bag fitted.If you do heavily loaded touring, there are other name brand steel touring racks that could probably be made to fit and would be more robust. However, these are substantially more expensive, and would need a bit more work to fit.Summary:I'd buy this again: my rating is probably slightly low, it should be somewhere between 3 and 4.For my use, the rack will work fine, and the price and ease of fitting offsets the cons noted.
