I have two samsung MP3 players YP-K5 and a Q2. This cable worked great with the K5. I purchased 2 cables (one for car, one for home). One of them will only work with the Q2, both work with the K5. I think the little clasp on the part that clips into the MP3 is weak on the one that doesn't work as expected. I put a rubber-band around it to pull it into the MP3 player harder and it works ok.If you expect the possibilty of a minor issue like this, then I recommend the item. If I had paid two or three times the price, I would have been upset at the outcome. The one that works without toying with it works very well. I would recommend this as a back up but if this is your only one, I would make sure you are satisfied with replacement policy should you end up with a problem unit.

It is, by far, the cheapest possible way to get this semi-proprietary cable, and it works perfectly. I honestly don't know what more one could possibly ask for.More detail about the item: on the end of the cable that connects to the device, there's a little arrow with LED light indicator that glows different colors depending on what's happening (I haven't taken note of what each color stands for, other than green for connected on USB end); the light's not bright in any way, but it's clearly visible. I don't know what the light has to do with the performance of the product itself, and I assume the light's operation is actually completely separate from the data transfer functions.It's right about the same length as the original Samsung YP-T9 cable that I lost and replaced with this cheapy.Basically, if you need this cable, I don't know why you wouldn't get this.

This cable looks more substantial than the original one that came with my Samsung player. Connects to both the player and USB ports in my computer and chargers without problems. It even has one nice feature that my original cable didn't have: the triangle on the player-side connector lights up when connected to something. If I connect player to the charger, the triangle stays red as long as the player is being charged, then turns green. If I connect player to my computer, the triangle stays green when there is no data transfer, or flickers red when data is transferred. Be careful though: if you disconnect cable from the charger/computer, but leave it connected to the player, the triangle will be lit with constant green, slowly draining your player's battery...

found sync cable using search in amazonordered & bam! within 5 days I was back on the pavement running with my mp-3 loaded up with new tunes. couldn't find a single place where I live that had it in stock. spent one hour looking two different times. the ones i did find where 20x the price and would have to be ordered. one stop shop thats what i am talking bout!!Great job!

work good for blackberry bold but like i had said early in my other reviews i know longer have this phone at all so it works but i have new phone now so read all my reviews and see i tell u how i feel about what i brought

I like that I know have a charger, however, it seems that the USB cable sometimes shorts out in certain positions. I am not sure whether it is the compatibility with the computer or just a fluke in the cord. Thanks, I can now listen to my tunes!

Used this company a few time and bought 4 more of these on a 2nd order from this same vendor being I was impressed with my 1st order where the product had an LED light built in on the plug which lite up when it was plugged in. The second order contained a completely different design of which had NO LED and a cheap plastic end. Poor Product design and bait & switch tactics. Would have sent them back especially for the high shipping fees being they sent them USPS for a couple dollars, but you live and learn. Would not do business with this company again.
