Works even better than custom cabinet inserts!
This is a very impressive insert. The double trash insert with soft & auto close feature along with the easy install & strong & solid trash can holder & cans makes this purchase well worth the money. We'll be adding more inserts to our kitchen and laundry from Rev-A-Shelf after this first purchase!

Works very nice
These pull out very nicely, and go smooth. They pull out a little harder then what I expected (which still isn't hard, I was just surprised) but that's nice because they are quite and stay pulled out. I have a friend whose trash cans pull out without any resistance but then the problem is they slowly start sliding back in so you have to hold them out while cleaning plates. These stay out until you push it shut. The only thing that I don't like is that if you order the lids that go with these cans you can't open the back lid all the way because the unit doesn't pull out enough to fully have access to the back can, but that isn't a huge deal to me, I make it work.

Well Made, Installation Okay
This was not as easy to install as the instructions would like you to think. The piston for the soft open/close is in the way and there are no instructions on how too work around it.The template did make it easy to find the location of the mounting holes. The opening, like in my case (14.5"), can be tighter than is suggested and still work fine.Siding movement is smooth and quiet, but because of the piston design, the pull out resistance is too great for my taste. Soft close is just right. The containers fit nice a snug in pockets.Attaching the door was not trivial, but there are many flexible options for almost any door style.

Great replacement worn out slides
The quality of this product is tremendous and you can feel it’s so much more substantial than my previous one, which was worn out. The installation went fairly smooth. The instructions could’ve been a little clearer, The system was different than my original so it was a little harder to orient myself while trying to visualize what it would look like when complete

Very sturdy and smooth gliding
We got sick of our old pull out garbage/recycling system when it constantly got messed up and broken and wobbly. This one was a major splurge, but it's soooo nice. I like that the bins that hold the cans are solid instead of wire. This one catches all the garbage crud so it's easier to clean out and doesn't sift down into the cabinet itself. The soft open/close mechanism is a little tight, but it has loosened up over time.

Awesome
Very easy to install. Works great and not too difficult to close or open. Super satisfied and zero complaints. Template was a big time saver.

Not sturdy at all
My husband and I completely demoed and redid our kitchen 100% ourselves. He works in the trades and is incredibly handy. I did a TON of research on what to get for our trash can, and this seemed like a viable option. WORST PURCHASE EVER. It is installed correctly, 100% level, adhered to the panel etc. No user error here. But the mechanism simply isn't sturdy enough. A lot of the models I looked at had the pull out part in the middle of the cabinet and the trash cans went through the slots. In hindsight this makes much more sense than having the tray at the bottom. So the tray is at the bottom, and the handle is at the top of the cabinet. When you pull open the cabinet (and the trash canister) the cabinet door almost bows because it's pulling so much weight unevenly. Hard to describe. I'll try to take pics and upload them. But just don't buy this. Don't spend $200+ on this piece of crap. I wouldn't recommend this product to ANYONE. We're stuck with it for now, but we're going to build our own system when we have time.

Kitchen waste container replacement
I got this to replace an existing flimsy and broken one. This came with a template that you place inside to give you locations of where to drill holes for the base. Once secured in place, you attach the cabinet face and the installation is complete. Pretty easy to replace.

Good concept - several issues
The concept of this pull out shelf attached to your cabinet door as a DIY project is a good one. This product proved to have a couple of issues. First - it is not easy to install the door to the mount, and align it accordingly . This took me over an hour as the instructions and diagrams are not very descriptive. Second - the piston mechanism is way too tight, and there is no option to adjust (I called Rev-a-shelf myself to try and fix it). So you really have to pull hard to get it out, and really push it to put it back in. Third - as a result of the piston mechanism being so tight, there is a lot of pressure on the door handle, and the cabinet door itself. It bows each time you pull it out. Not great.

Excellent product
Best product I bought so far, super easy to install, fits perfectly, many options to adjust the door attached to it, excellent material used (all metal frame), looks high end, the assistance to open and close works very well. Would definitely recommend this product.

Love the new garbage system but have a few small gripes.
Overall we love this, mostly because we no longer have a giant trash can kicking around the kitchen. It's easy to open and easy to get the garbage bags outs. So for the most part we are very happy with this. A couple of small complaints, the two bolts at the bottom are junk. They don't fully tighten which causes the cabinet face it's attached to to slant outward. I've tightened these several times as much as possible but inevitably the loosen again. This is a design flaw which could be easily fixed. Instructions for installation were lacking a bit in a couple of areas. Also a piece of advice, don't push garbage down into the containers. It will cause things to twist and your cabinet face will be out of alignment. We opted to go with lids. Nice to have to keep any foul smells at bay a little more, but a bit of a pain really. We mostly end up keeping one off. I'd probably not bother with lids.
