Barbour Men's Heritage Liddesdale Jacket

This Barbour jacket is one of my wardrobe's best-looking, most versatile pieces. It's cut like a slim-fit blazer, so you will likely need it in a size larger than your usual (I wear a large usually, and the XL fits me perfectly). It instantly says "person of taste and distinction" regardless of what you wear it with, so if that's the look you're going for, grab one. It is quilted but not lined or filled - I use it for cool weather, not the bitter cold. This was also much cheaper than other options. I originally bought the jacket at a department store. A couple of months later, I saw it here for $70 cheaper including shipping. I bought a second jacket here, and it arrived on time, just in time for me to return the expensive first jacket before the return window closed. One last thing - this jacket shipped from the UK wrapped in Barbour branded packaging. The department store jacket was not wrapped and had a "Made in Myanmar" tag stitched to the inside. Overall I feel much better about the product I bought here.

I love the feel of this jacket, very soft, beautiful diamond quilt pattern. I’m 6’3” so I liked the fact that this jacket was a little long in the body. My only quibble is the sleeves were very long. I took it to a tailor who shortened them for me though and now I love the jacket.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and it’s a great jacket and very well made. We had to return it because it was a little snug on him but I would buy it again in another size

Very stylish coat. Not a good sizing fit for everyone. I am 5’11”; 175 and usually wear mediums for sweaters. It is very snug and the arms are about right, but on the long side.

I got this jacket for my husband for Christmas 2011. He's worn it many times and just loves it. He looks great in it, too. He can layer a sweater under it or even the Barbour quilted vest which he also has. I was so pleased to be able to find navy (it's a very dark navy, though) rather than black, and he doesn't look good in warm colors so the selection is more limited. After almost a year it's held up well with no complaints. I expect many more years from this.

Bought as a gift for someone that regularly wears a size Large jacket. This jacket was significantly small in both arm diameter and overall diameter. Poorly sized. Overall the jacket is about equal to Carhartt and Columbia but not better. Not worth the extra costs. Not a good value.

Barbour make excellent product backed by their reputation and years they have been on the business. Quality is done very nice and still most of their products hand made.

Quality wasn't quite what I expected out of a Barbour. Style on the other hand is right there. This jacket fits like a glove. I've been wearing this jacket for 2 winters and found that some of the stitches in the quilting are pulling out. None of the important stitches but still a little aggravating for a jacket of this cost. With that said you get the Barbour branding and exact cut. There are a million imitators but one Barbour. I also consistently wear this jacket in weather in the teens (F) with a sweater underneath, and down to 0 with enough layers underneath. Very versatile jacket.

If you’re looking to buy this to keep you warm in winter be warned it is relatively thin. Otherwise, lovely jacket. Bit spartan on the internal pockets also. Seems like they cheaped out a little on it if I am honest.
