Low priced POWER HOUSE!
This power supply, so far has not disappointed me. It is an excellent product for my (hobbyist) use. I use it to bench test automotive lighting , it handles 4- 55Watt halogens + 2- 35Watt loads without a whimper! I shorted the output several times with instant recovery after short is removed. I have read one of the reviews that stated high ripple. I have not scoped it to verify this ,yet! But for my use it works fine. Can't say anything about longevity since I have only had it for about two weeks. I will update this review if any problems arise.

Perfect for the money
This works perfectly. I’m powering a Yaesu ft2980 at 80 watts. It’s set at 13.8 volts and doesn’t waver even a tenth of a volt. No heat generated at all. I have the 50 amp model.Built very well. I have it mounted vertically with fan up.

12vdc 40amp power supply module..
The unit looks ok, but it came in dented. It looks like it took a good beating. It is dented and twisted in several places. See pics. I will test it and update. If it works, the the dents are ok. The unit will be inside of another cabinet anyway.

Was surprised
Bought this to build my own in home stereo using only car stereo equipment. At first i feel really janky and like it's gonna just blow up on you. But after i got a higher awg cable for it's power source and used the onboard voltage tuner to set it to 14.5 volts it all seemed to calm my nerves somehow. Either way i've had this setup for quite some time now and i've had absolutely no issues with it.

Why??
Mine came dented and scratched with a screw missing on the circuit board and the warrenty void sticker was torn in half. The circuit board is also damaged. This is supposed to be new??I was sent a replacement that was also beat up but not as bad. It had a bent mounting foot. I used it to power a 55lb thrust trolling motor. It seems to be working.

Does exactly what I need it to do
So far pretty solid, using it to power a home made stereo box using some old car audio gear, was able to adjust the output voltage to 14v and it is powering a 400 watt pioneer amp and a head unit, voltage stay stable and the unit doesn't get hot

40 amp unit failed completely after a few days when being driven at 65% capacity
Update: After a few days of use the power supply failed completely. It tripped my 20 amp breaker at the same time. I was driving the power supply at 65% its rated capacity. I had been checking the temperature of the housing several times a day to be sure that it was not overheating. While it was warm, it was normal for these power supplies. Either this unit had a manufacturing defect or it is overrated in regards to amperage. As I mentioned in the original review, the unit was a bit banged up when I received it, but it appeared only cosmetic. I adjusted my rating to reflect the complete failure of the unit. The unit that failed was the 40 amp unit, not the 10 amp one. I have both and the 10 amp one is still working fine. I will look to another manufacturer for another power supply because I no longer trust this brand. I will also get a larger version because I also do not trust the rating of these power supplies now, without knowing how this thing failed internally. This power supply was being used 16 hours per day.Original review:I have only had this power supply running for a couple hours, but it looks promising. I was able to adjust the voltage enough for my use. I needed 12.5 volts at my lights and was able to achieve that by adjusting the voltage screw. At the power supply, the voltage is now 12.8 volts. This is why an adjustable power supply is important, because the output wire to the powered device is going to add resistance. I have a 12 gauge wire to mine and there is still a voltage drop. This power supply is physically 33% larger than one I am sending back where the voltage was not adjustable enough. Maybe size does matter? The unit came in slightly damaged because of the shipping packaging. It was shipped in a plastic bag. The power supply comes in a thin cardboard box that does not protect it at all. There is no padding in the box. So far it is working, but I would have felt better not needing to straighten out bent corners. This unit is not quite as good as other units in regards to mounting holes. There are only three threaded holes and they do not align correctly. (They form a triangle pattern.) This could be an issue with mounting brackets. The fan is the most quiet fan of the power supplies I have used so far. It is supposed to be thermally controlled, so we will see if that changes when it begins to get hot. I do not have a full load on it yet, so it is not being pushed much at all.

I will not buy this brand. It smoked and died.
