Large Commercial Roofice Dam Melt Socks - Ezdeicer Ice Melt Sold Separately

Unlike the illustration, this is not a sock, rather a bag. It accommodates more chemical than I can handle so I only load in 25 lbs. it looks like it could handle 50 lbs with ease. I used two of them to break up a 30 foot dam: I kept moving them, skip-spaced to meld down to the roof and then pulled the remaining chunks off the edge. The dams were 6-8 inches of solid ice with about an inch of frozen snow on top. I have no doubt they would handle any large carbuncles that form higher up on my shallow sloping roof. My only objection is the bag shape which mushrooms out into a round splotch, I was anticipating a more long, tubular sock so that I could more precisely incise the dam.
