Love these boots. I agonized over the sizing but fortunately this company has free returns, which says to me they back their product. I usually wear a 7.5 - 8 (but lean more toward 8), and went with the 8 so I could wear some thicker socks in the winter. The 8 was a perfect fit. Even with a thinner sock the 8's still fit well. I wore them all day on day 1 and had some slight blistering, which is to be expected for a sturdy leather boot like this, but it was nothing excessive and I was able to wear them again all day the following day. I'm extremely happy with this boot and the quality of them. I can't wait to wear them again! If you're agonizing over sizing like I was, I think they're pretty true to size, so if you're in between sizes like I am, go up to the larger size, otherwise I'd advise to order your normal size, but as I mentioned before, they have free returns so that helps make life a lot easier! Thank you Chippewa for making the return process so easy and hassle free on the other pair I sent back! Was a great buying experience. :)

These boots are so great! I have seen many people wearing them both for work and for style, and I finally ordered a pair. The sole is very durable and has great tread; I don't see it wearing down anytime soon. The boot actually fits over my calf, which is rare. The adjustable strap on the top of the foot and on the calf help make them the perfect fit for you. Although they are expensive, I would highly recommend these boots. They are worth every penny!

Snake season came early in Southern California this year and Western rattlesnakes have great camouflage. It's nice to have some protection while I walk my property and clear brush. These boots are lightweight and very comfortable. The quality is very good and they are made in America! They have plenty of toe room and were comfortable from the first wearing. I generally wear a size 6 in street shoes, and a 6.5 in athletic shoes and boots. I ordered these boots in 6.5 and have enough room for a more supportive insole (I have high arches) and a medium weight wool sock.

I so love these boots and feel so much better stomping around West Texas grasslands in them in the spring. I have large calves and was worried about the fit but they are super comfortable. My husband was worried that they would be hard to get on and off because his are snug but mine easily slip on and off. They are beautiful and beautifully made. So glad I ordered these and they came in time for weekend use several days early and before I expected them.

I love this boot, but due to the construction, I found I needed to size up one full size. (I’m normally an 8.5, but a 9 was still too small. I ended up purchasing a 9.5 elsewhere, and it was perfect.)

I typically wear a size 7-7.5 but went with a 7.5 after reading reviews. This was the perfect size. The boots are comfortable - however hurt the top of my left foot slightly but I believe they just need to be broken in. I wore a thinner sock as it was hot however you could wear a much thicker sock and be comfortable. Great boots! Arrived next day! All was perfect!

The boots are very well made but are slightly large in the heel area. They fit everywhere else but do rub the heel from slipping when I walk. Tightening the lower strap helped a little, but I'll just have to wear them in my shop and not do too much walking. I did buy them to use in my shop, as I did have a rattler next to my layout table one morning. I think the boots will work great if I meet up with another one.

I listened to reviews so my boots fit perfectly but I am often a 6-6.5 in heels, etc.I got the boots in a 7 and I am so happy with them.I’m 5’1” and they come to a perfect height below my knee.Obviously, since they are taller and more heavy duty than normal boots, they weigh more but it is definitely not a big deal like people have made it out to be in the reviews.
