BioSense Gel Fusion Pillow

Gave this pillow as a Christmas gift - my daughter in law LOVED it! I liked the fact that it was more reasonably priced than others on the market.

My boyfriend loves it

The pillow performs as advertised. I like the memory foam as you move. It is not quite thick enough for me to sleep on my side though, causes my arm to fall asleep.

***Update*** As i got used to this pillow, most of the issues I had went away and I realized my neck was USED to being in a terrible position. I have not had a sore neck since I bought this pillow. Also my mattress was far too soft so my head was elevated too high. With my firm mattress, this is perfect. No regrets.The pillow is really firm, but not in a bad way. Normally pillows press my earrings to my head and hurt my ears but this pillow has never bothered my ears. Unlike my old feather pillows go flat and my head ends up kinked but this does exactly opposite; as a side sleeper this pillow is too high for me personally. After a month I'm trying to figure out how to make it go flat :/ I have been waking up with the pillow thrown on the floor and me on my stomach.I think it's a great pillow, im just not sure if it's perfect for me.

I bought two of these (one for my wife and one for me) and it backfired on me only in the way that she doesn't use it. In fact I am now sleeping in the guest room because she can't stand the smell. Actually that's not the only reason. I like the bed in the guest room better as well. The smell is all but gone on the one that I use all of the time and have for about 30 days now and I just started using the other one to cuddle with (that probably sounds weirder than it is). Anyway if there is any way you can tolerate the smell or keep it in another room until it dissipates you will love this pillow for it's firmness. I have had shoulder problems where they are sore and I don't have full strength in them but this pillow is making that history. So that is why I am giving this pillow a 4 star.

I bought two of these pillows! I will agree that they do have a bit of a smell when you first take them out of the package but it went away within a few hours. I love this pillow! They are firm, I would recommend for a side sleeper! I feel that it keeps your head in the perfect position, not to high not to low and you don't have to adjust it in the middle of the night! I know there is a break in period but I didn't have that problem. My only complaint is I wish these were made in USA!

I've own this pillow for about a month and I can relate to most of these reviews. 1) It is very firm, but it gives in with time and usage. I like firm pillows, I hate the feeling of laying on a flat surface. Every time I lay down I feel like this pillow will always support my head, it maintains its firmness very well. 2) It does have a funky smell, however I think all memory foam will smell coming out of its packaging, after a month the smell will go away.To be honest, I wanted to return the pillow but Brookstone will not let you if you open it from the wrappings. I can understand that, I wouldn't want to buy a returned pillow. Beware it does takes time for you to adjust because I had some neck soreness for about a week and 1/2 after I wake up from 7-8 hours of sleep. Although after one month I would say I'm satisfied with my investment.

My husband has one of these and bought me one of my own after I kept stealing his pillow. Honestly, it's the best pillow I've ever used. It's firm, but not hard. I don't think the gel actually does anything, but I don't find it warm. Unlike other reviewers, I never noticed a smell with it. I'm a side sleeper, for what it's worth.
