I was recommended by a friend who is also 6'1 to get a set of +1" clubs as my beginning set. After searching, I landed on these clubs... I am left handed so I cannot "test out" clubs as easily as my right handed friends who just swap clubs for a hole. So I took a chance on this club set... After playing a full season, they are a great set of clubs for tall beginners! I am steadily getting better and better the more I play with them and these are holding up great! They have seen their fair share of dirt when I miss hit and swing too low... AKA I have grounded them so much they have seen more dirt than a four wheeler. BUT the clubs and driver are still just as nice as they were the day I bought them after I just brush them off. You will eventually NEED to buy a higher degree wedge set if you want to increase your mid-close game and get higher arch/loft. I recommend looking at 52 & 56 wedges to get the higher arch you need to land on the green with minimal rolling... After playing a bit, you will eventually WANT to upgrade you driver as well. This driver sounds great and works perfectly fine.... but there is still always that feeling of "what could I do with a $400 Taylormade"?

The golf clubs were delivered in a timely manner, however, there was a huge dent in the box. It was taped over, so hopefully there was no damage to the clubs or bag. It’s not been opened yet as it’s a gift

Head flew off after using three times

They look nice and for the price they work great. I still stink at golf, but when I hit my driver and irons correctly, I seem to gain more distance than my old clubs. Good set for a beginner!

solid beginners set. Didn't expect much but the only thing i've replaced so far is the driver. I'm 6'2 and the driver was just a little to long for me. Everything else is still in my bag.

Clubs are really great, nice and light easy to carry with the double shoulder straps. As a 6'3" player the tall clubs are very comfortable.

Perfect for starting out

The driver and 3/5 woods are great length but the irons are regular length to short for me when I ordered tall extra long for 6 foot 4 inches tall I thought that all woods and iron would be longer than regular but the irons are the same length as my old set regular length thank you

It's a nice set, looks sharp but the quality is not there. My pitch snapped in half within 2 months. My driver has a rattle in the shaft. That happened after 1 use at the driving range. Beginner set that allows growth as you get better. Not anything more.
