I agree with the other reviewers on all negative points made. Have only had this device for 7 months and now cannot get a signal between the monitor and camera at all. Very disappointing

Works well and small issue with display being handled well by manufacturer's support
Happy with quality and it's very easy to use. Line appeared on display, but it's being replaced under manufacturer's warranty.

Horrible Reception With Quality Issues
We purchased the Levana Ovia Baby Monitor prior to the birth of our daughter. The product arrived new in the original packaging and was shipped quickly. We have had mixed feelings about this product so please see the breakdown below:Screen:The screen offers a clear picture of the baby's crib during the day and at night. The screen is large enough to easily see the baby. When the room is dark the picture is black and white (night mode) which obviously is not as nice as the color day picture. When looking at this picture versus a Nest Cam, the Nest is definitely way better quality and offers a much clearer picture.Reception:We live in a two story home so being able to hear and see the baby while downstairs is important. The reception will often go in and out which for the price of this device is very disappointing. Our baby's room is next to ours and it often will blip in and out with the "no signal" screen. Adjusting the antenna does little to nothing. All the extras (music playing, video recording etc) are pointless if its main function fails consistently.Quality:As I mentioned above this monitor has mostly sat on the dresser in our bedroom and has not been touched. In other words it has had very little use. After about 3 months of using the product, I closed the antenna and opened it and half of the plastic covering the antenna popped off in my hand. I was not being forceful with the product at all. Instead, it appears that not enough adhesive was used to attach the two halves of the antenna to hold them together.Update After 1 Year of Use:We decided to purchase a Nest Cam in order to address the poor reception. Since the Nest Cam works over wifi, we are able to monitor the crib from anywhere. We now use the Nest Cam almost exclusively but we do have this monitor setup in our bedroom so we can hear our daughter at night. Our friends recently visited with another Levana monitor and the reception and picture were far superior to ours (and their monitor was less expensive).Recommendation:Based on our experience with this product, we would recommend going with a different baby monitor. This is due to a poor build quality, reception issues, and a screen that is not as sharp as competing products in night mode (which has been our most used mode).
