Happy customer
Bought this to lift the top off of my jeep wrangler. After mounting it to the ceiling of my garage I turned it on and immediately ruined the big red power button. I must have twisted it to hard or it was not put together correctly. Contacted the seller via email and they immediately sent me a new yellow control module at no cost. I switched it out with the old one and it works great. We now have the jeep top hanging from the ceiling. Very satisfied with the customer service that I received and the hoist is working fine. Will update if I have any problem with repeated use, but doubt that I will have to.

Works great
This is in my shop to raise and lower a 135" projector screen via some cable and pulleys. Works great. Is a little noisy, but in my situation not a true concern. The control pendant chord is a little short in my opinion. Only about 4 ft. I'll extend it for my use. Safety shut off works perfectly and hook and pulley block appear to be more than adequate for the stated load rating.

A New Way for Old People to Lift Salt into their Softeners
The Heavy Duty Electric Hoist 441 that I bought was attached to the ceiling securely to help with lifting 40 pound salt bags into the salt reservoir. It worked perfect. The quality of the device was really quite good. I realize that its real value will be whether the device lasts for a period of time, but my impression was that it was well built, safety mechanisms all worked well and were designed appropriately, and its appearance was perfect. While a 25 year old will think this application is nonsense, let that person try to lift 40 pounds waste high when he's 75 or 80.

Workhorse on the jobsite
I built a mini jib-crane from a single 4x8 3/4 sheet of plywood and some pipe/fittings. The winch was mounted using four L-brackets and some lag screws. It works like a charm. So far nothing really heavy has been tried but lumber 10 feet long. It was effortless vs trying to lift the material up two stories on a ladder!Update: note this winch is the 220 model and will only lift the advertised 441 lbs when using two pulleys. I will try to add a video for those that might be interested.

Terrific Hoist!
Well-made and functional 120 Volt AC hoist. Actual single-line capacity is 220 lbs. Mine has been in-use about a week with no problems and has very successful. I use it for hoisting my Laser sailboat (about 120 lbs) about 8 feet into the overhead of my garage for storage. $100 is a good price (Harbor Freight has a nearly identical model for sale $100, reg $130). I am very pleased with this hoist/winch, and recommend it.

Excellent
This product was delivered timely and is doing the job that we wanted. I'm a licensed Physical Therapist. This Hoist is on a track with a harness so the my young and aging patients can safely practice: walking, explosive jumps, getting up off the floor, climbing ramps and ladders and doing foot work drills without fear of falling.
