75 year old retired teacher. I’m a shoe size 6 (39) 5’6” the S/M fits perfectly up to the knee. Have been unable to walk without pain and fear of collapse for seven months. Ankles and knees aching and swelling. Tried my socks today and amazed at the gentle support they give. Doubled my daily walking target to 5,000 steps! No fear, no pain. Very comfortable.. I was advised to wear compression socks for medical reasons, but was very reluctant to buy any. I am an active 64 year old with leg problems caused by an car accident in my thirties. Before trying these I felt as if my legs were terribly tired, nearly all the time, and I really wondered how long I could stay active. So in desperation I bought them, having put it off far too long. From the moment I wore my first pair I felt so much more like my old self! They really do help/work. They have been an absolute life saver. (I just wonder how I will manage without them in the summer.) I recommend them very highly, they are a little hard to get on, but once on, they are very comfortable and stay up all day.
